Vetokele problems started after both CB took turns in kicking him against Rotherham at the New York stadium.
The dilemma then, is rest or an operation the best cure ?
Different opinions between Big Bob Peeters, the Charlton medical team, and consultants meant Igor wasn't fit he couldn't train and his weight went up.
Lewis Page if he stays fit, could be a championship standard LB, may be best to see if he can put a full season at Exeter before we feel he has turned the corner.
Kelly Youga (yet another left back predominantly) was another 'typical Charlton' injury where he simply disappeared into the Medical Department Black Hole.

I remember his injury one evening about this time of year (?) against Bristol Rovers where he challenged for a high ball towards the covered end in front if the West Stand . The ball was out of play or nearly so and he wasn't going to stop it going out. Did his leg on landing if I recall correctly.
Yes, it looked negligible to me. I thought he was exaggerating.
I'd be interested to hear what his new routine he's started is compared to his old one. Happy for him though, still got a very happy memory of him scoring Vs Plymouth in LB first game. Had no idea what to expect going into that game and was a very pleasant surprise!
Poor Lewis. Hope its not another long term one. Really wished he was going to do well with us, was gutted when he got injured and was nice to see him start so well for Exeter. Gutting
Shame for him. He is a very good player whom could easily have played top half Championship football and quite possibly higher but can't help but feel he will end up like our other ex LB, Tariq, with an early retirement.

Vetokele is playing roughly the same amount of games in Belgium as he did in his final season with us

Vetokele did complete 20 games last season.
Kashi has continued his inconsistencies. Real shame
Then the longer the season progressed the deeper he got, and the more sideways he passed the ball. Strange.

I wish him well.
