  • Preliminary rounds on Tuesdays rather than Saturdays and prize money reduced.

shame for the non league teams
  • You can guarantee replays won’t be returning now they have gone.
Just like magic (of the FA cup) they disappear.

    Extra Preliminary Round

So after our youth team loses to AFC Wimbledon on penalties put BBC on and watch some real football 🤣🤣
  • What's this third/fourth/fifth round proper?

Is there a third/fourth/fifth round make believe?

Are the ties all on the dates shown or spread over the weekend like normal?

Hashtag United won 13-12 in the last round on penalties and it was 2 penalties away from breaking an FA Cup record for most penalties, hopefully this one will be as exciting
  • What a win for Hashtag United

Only founded 4 years ago and into The FA Cup 2nd qualifying round

  • FA Cup Magic!
  • I must have missed the last round lol, just noticed Hashtag United went to penalties again, this time they lost to Braintree

I also see Welling and Dartford both lost
  • 3rd qualifying round tonight

    Ebbsfleet behind
  • Hamlet have gone to pens again.

  • Cray wanderers won on pens.

    Cray Valley won 2-0.

    Sheppey lost 3-1.

    Maidstone lost on pens.

  • Planning ahead, does anyone know if our FA Cup games (the one game we will play) Is going to be streamed?

There was a separate site for the Carabao Cup I am hoping it will be the same for the FA Cup.

I guess we could be one of the games picked by BT or the BBC but if not I am hoping it will be shown. They have streamed the EFL Cup so would expect the FA Cup to be shown as well.

Skelmersdale United are the lowest ranked team left in the competition (they are the only level 9 team).

Starting in the extra prelim round this will be their 6th game in the FA Cup.
A Premier League or Championship team making the final would only play 6 games all season.

edit: some level 8 teams will also be playing their 6th game but only Skelmersdale remain from Step 5.
  • The big Palace derby will be a good game (Sutton v Bromley).

  • Notts County have been forced to withdraw from the FA Cup after two more players tested positive for Covid-19 before the fourth qualifying round.

County now have six players who have tested positive for the virus and are self-isolating as a result.

It means Saturday's opponents King's Lynn Town will get a bye and play in the first round for the first time.

County's upcoming National League games against Aldershot Town and Halifax have also been postponed.

It comes as Barnet say they are "confident" of playing their tie with Leiston despite having manager Peter Beadle and nine players out following positive coronavirus tests.

  • Are we in the draw on Monday then?
  • So Notts County have 6 positive tests and have to pull out.

Barnet have 9 and are confident they can play

There needs to be proper rules in place for when u can and cant play, end of story.
  • Are we in the draw on Monday then?
    Yes we will be
  • I'm sure this has been covered, but what happens if we draw an away tie against a team in the seventh or lower tier?
