There is more to judge a striker on than his goalscoring record, but I think what we quite clearly need is a goalscorer at the moment as not many are coming from the midfield so I'm not sure it's him based on his record.0 -

In league one you need to threaten the six yard box. No one in our squad has that kind of physical presence. Omar changes that. It won’t always be pretty but who cares. The job is to get out of this shitey league and be able to mix it up when needed. I think Bogle gives us that presence and option.10

Bowyer still wants another five signings before next Friday’s closure of the domestic window.
“We have to bring three more loans in and a striker,” he said. “I’m looking to probably get another five.
“It’s so important that we get a striker through the door because we’re very, very short in that department.”

To everyone who is writing the guy off before he starts and moaning that he isn't a Bonne , that is correct . He is a different type of player - Bonne wont be able to bully defenders the way this guy and Chucks can.
The window isn't closed yet and we don't know exactly who else we are negotiating with or due to bring in.
Forget what he has or hasn't done before and get behind him for the whole season. It could well be that he is crucial part of the jigsaw that Bows and Gallen are putting together which gets us back in the championship.13 -

Silly me.As you want to be pedantic I didn’t say Maddison is the clearly the best player in the league, I said when he’s at his best he’s probably the best in League One - you literally can’t argue with that, his stats would say he’s definitely the best in the league.My issue was with the amount of hype the social team did for the signing, but it’s a non-issue. It’s just odd we’d do that for Bogle when we didn’t for higher caliber players like Watson and Maddison.Have a cup of tea and chill out.5
