Why are we grouped with Iceland and Denmark? I thought NL groups were done according to your FIFA ranking and Iceland (notwithstanding today's scoreline) are 39th

Foden didn’t have his best game but it’s hard to judge him with a midfield of Ward-Prowse and Rice.
It’s also a lot easier to play good football with an actual LB. Saka would’ve been a better call up than Maitland Niles2 -

Except they ended up scrapping the relegation from a couple of years ago and upped the number of teams in a group from three to four.

Belgium - A
Iceland - A (relegated but reprived)
Denmark - promoted from B3 -

Iceland and Germany had been relegated from League A but UEFA decided to increase nearly all Groups from three teams to four teams
Meant that those two stayed up, whilst Denmark got promoted from League B3 -
