After a great start since the break, we haven't collected enough points to lift us out of the relegation fight. Razor thin margins have not gone our way. We'll have to limp to safety now if we are to stay up. It's still doable, but it won't be easy and is not totally in our own hands (feet?).

Those subs have cost us. Utterly predictable.

When we hit the post and made those subs I said to my dad we would draw. I also said we would get 7 minutes injury.

Thats is down. What an end to a truly shit day

Sorry. Taylor's a twat. But you need more than one sodding forward to survive in this league. The rest are shockingly short
    Not Taylor's fault this time.

I love Bowyer and think he's done an amazing job to even give us a chance of staying up.

It's also possible to think he's fucked us over tonight with his tactics/subs.

Negative again, we were doing fine until the changes. This was poor from Bowyer.

Without doubt, this lot are the biggest bunch of bottlers in the history of football.
Although this one is also "special"
Sorry mate but don’t start digging people out for their views, especially in the midst of frustration at a goal which could relegate us.

How anyone can say we haven’t bottled it at times this season is beyond me.

The one crumb of comfort I am taking from that is that it will mean less money for East Street Imposters to get their grubby paws on.

we had a couple chances to time waste in their corner flag but instead we whipped in weak crosses, that resulted in us getting pushed back into our own end.
Would have been nice to see some corner time wasting or passing around the back instead of lumping the ball into the box with only minutes left in regulation.
There were still 4 minutes left after they scored. And indeed they looked more likely to score again than us

The fact so many freaked over 7 minutes added points to a fact we all know... Bowyer needs some coaching on how to finish.

I don't think I've had the hump this badly over football since I was 15. And now it's time for me to wade through the Shenanigans thread. Whoopee! :grimace:

Probably facing administration and a 12pt deficit in Lge 1 now as they won't find any buyers!

This season is dragging on like a bad  smell! When will it end!
It's seriously making me nauseous. I've had more than a gut full of it.

Why is it that when Dillon spills it, the opposition is always quicker to the ball than our players?

Well it is. Win our last two and we stay up. Albeit unlikely.

1-0 with 15 minutes to go take WILLIAMS off,

fucking Miracle is the only way we will stay up.
i hope that Twat Taylor is proud of himself ARSEHOLE 👎👎👎

If Taylor wasn't a twat, if Leko hadn't gotten hurt, and Chelsea didn't recall Gallagher, we would be 100% safe. We had the squad at the beginning of the season to compete, now we're just fucked

When Morgan’s playing a ball up into an empty half with 8 minutes left to play, that’s a problem.

bring 3 subs on with 20 minutes to go, doesn’t matter who they are, it’s backs to the wall time.

Davison must be absolutely shite, not to get a chance in front of Bonne and Hemed. They were terrible first half.

Some of the comments on this thread are truly unbelievable. And none more so than this.
Absolutely agree  Boyer is a good manager but the late substitutions were wrong, saying Bowyer ain’t got a clue is Utter Bollocks....he made a mistake.
and it’s probably sent us down.

Some of the comments on here about Bowyer are embarrassing.  He put up with more shit this season than all the managers in the championship combined.  We don't deserve him.

So did you think it was right to take the players off he did ? Aneke was like for like and he did well when he came on. Why take Field off ? This was the game we had the most chance to win and we always take players off when playing well.

From memory that is the third time we have gone defensive against Birmingham when 1-0 up. The other time was under Chris Powell, when they had the giant Serbian forward. Each time it ends up 1-1.

I'm totally fed up supporting a team that thinks that's the way to play. We had the initiative and then decided to make the last negative subs.

I don't blame any of our players who all give 100%.

McGeady shot goes in and even Charlton win 2-1 after parking the red bus.

We was on top, subs was way too defensive, I would have taken hemed off for Davidson and gone for the killer 2nd

It was definitely there for the taking

Listen ali, I told you before: we're not going to keep up the payments on that new Range Rover with an attitude like that.
  • If you concede once or twice late on, you could put it down to bad luck but this is now an extremely regular occurrence and it's likely going to cost us our place in the division. 8 points lost by conceding injury time goals, it's ridiculous. Completely pathetic game management.

You're a goal up against a poor side who've not won in 11 games and are extremely shaky at the back, so why on earth do you take off pretty much every attacking outlet and go ultra defensive. Doughty ok maybe because he took a knock a while earlier, but there was no need to take off Williams and McGeady with 15 minutes left in a game you have to win.

You make your own luck and we've brought it all on ourselves by sitting deeper and deeper and inviting them to attack. Then inevitably they do.

We have it all to do now. Beat Wigan or we're effectively relegated.

I think that Luton will beat Hull and possibly Blackburn too.

Ironically, our best hope is that Stoke beat Brentford meaning that Leeds win promotion just before their last game.

If we can pull off a shock at Leeds, Huddersfield have two tough games against West Bromwich Albion and Millwall. It's not over yet.

I don't necessarily believe it will happen but it's not beyond the reach of this league's random nature.

Despite what some are saying, this team are anything but bottlers. Someone might just grab the bull by the horns and be a hero.

Said this on the post match thread last week and it’s happened again. It’s cost us the 3 points once more.

I love Bonne for his effort but how many times have we found ourself saying ‘he should have scored’ after a game? Too many for a professional striker in the Championship

It's not his fucking fault. He scored one & the keeper saved the 2nd.

    Blame anyone blame Bowyer.
He’s a striker, he’s supposed to score. If he misses a chance from 2 yards out it’s his fault.

I was worried a little while before their goal that we were pushing forward a bit too much and would lose our shape.

looked a bit too haphazard for me
