i don't mind popping down there and doing it, BRE.

I would pass it fit to play on, regardless of its condition though, cos i'm looking forward to this game.

If the referee doesnt live near se7 they often stay in hotels the night before anyway, so may already be down here

[cite]Posted By: SoundAsa£[/cite]Chirpy does have apoint...(never thought I'd say that)....Just because the pitch may be passed as playable today it has little bearing on what may happen between now and tomorrow afternoon.
    I'd expect a mid-day inspection.

No good for me as I am leaving at 11!

Can someone ask them to reschedule just for me?

  • my game tomorrow's just been called off so I'll be heading over to SE7 as long as it's on

notice on the email from amtt wright -depsite forecasts for temperatures of up to -6 there won't be an official inspection tomorrow morning.

so you could all make your way and the game be called off 1 hour before like Leyton Orient lat week.

Surely make sens to have another about 9-10am

i think The Curb-It Crew should visit the Forrest dressing room pre the game. Curb-It should grab Enrnshaw by the throat and say "its my B/Day today if you win/if you score/ if you touch the ball at all il be back and i wont be happy " then return him to the floor from the wall where he had been pinned.

Phew! Think both Mick and his team and the ref did not want to incur the wrath of Curb It and me...

Now it will be worthwhile getting up at 5am in the morning - or at least I'll know that by 5pm...

"However, like us, he had the overnight weather forecast, and there is still some concern about the freezing conditions being predicted."

Hopefully they'll be doing a pitch inspection tomorrow at 3am ;o)

Probably cos he realises he has to work a 12 hour day tomorrow instead of getting day off ! :-)

Milwall game at Cheltenham off as well.

Back in the days this would have sparked rumours of "Millwall are coming down to take on Forest"

They would have too...got in many a scrape with them in The Covered End back in the late 60's early 70's.....you couldn't avoid it...you either ran or stood your ground.

Let's hope the pitch is fit for tomorrow. Can't believe there is no inspection planned for tomorrow morning, with temps hitting -6 tonight, and still -3 at 9am.

Could look bloody stupid if the game is called off a hour before kick off.

Just walked home from work. Live 10mins from the Valley. It is absolutely freezing out, just cannot see the game going ahead tomorrow.
  • -6 tonight in Enfield allegedly we have called all our gams off in the league 2morrow. I did a pitch walk and it is solid, if they thought it might be off by 12 today unless they have sorted out the potentsial problems i can not see it happening
