    What worries me most about the Aribo statement, aside from the disappointment I won’t see him play for Charlton again, is that we appear to have been waiting to announce so we could announce with some good news. And then there isn’t any.

    Probably wouldnt be able to go to Spain if thats the case as would add to the numbers on the flight and hotel rooms etc.

    Any idea why Bowyer is going so far out in a limb criticising Aribo's Rangers move, comparing them unfavourably with Brentford etc? I cannot see what he has to gain and he is pissing off Rangers fans mightily.

    He is just telling the truth and how it is. Who really cares gives a shit if he pisses off Rangers fans. Shit move for a good player.

    The bloke has had a better career of sitting on the bench than Stack or Stuart Taylor.  I would guess 2 grand a week and never play is good work at his age.  If he doesn't want it I'll have it.

    In 10 years he has played 47 games for his club, plus 14 on loan. Great work, if you can get it.

    No expert on Portuguese football but who the bloody hell are FC Famalicao? Capacity of 5000 and seems like they will be competing in the top division for the first time in roughly 25 years. Yes it's the top division but this is a team who are likely to go straight back down and I don't think they could compete in the Champ. 

    All that and we don't have the power to financially compete with them? Shows the worrying situation we find ourselves in.

    If we've really got 3-4 signings coming in for pre season can we just get on with it now and announce them?

    With a complete rebuild of the team required we've lost the momentum from promotion already. Thanks Roland.

    Not sure why a lot of you find it "worrying" did you really think Roland was going to increase the player transfer and wages budget? He is doing what he always does at this time of year.
