Sunderland v Donny on Sky tomorrow evening and then Accrington v Luton on Saturday evening.  Will be great to watch if we do the business at Oxford.
    5.15 on Friday, not tomorrow.

    4 - Portsmouth - 89                                                    4 - Charlton - 89
    5 - Charlton - 84                                                        5 - Sunderland -  88

The new positions are a mixture of actual results (in BOLD) and my thoughts on results for remaining games.
If, and its a big IF, we can win all our remaining games we could 'nick' 2nd place by 1 point, but I have us drawing with Gillingham as it stands.
  • Looks like Moore is going to be available for the play offs for Barnsley (assuming they are involved).

Still think Barnsley will do it. Rather than the defeat at the SoL, it might turn out to be the defeat at Oakwell which was crucial

Let's just beat gobinson and see where we are .
5pm Friday could look so different to what it does now.

In a good or bad way I have no idea.

Yeah, I said I reckoned he would be a few days ago.

In their squad for tomorrow, hopefully he’s no where near match fit.

Oxford away will be tough they have been playing well and no doubt fat boy Robbo will be up fo it.
This, I do not think Oxford or Gillingham will be the walk in the park people are predicting.
Are they better than Luton then ?
    Looks that way!!
  • Hope that Sunderland get 2nd or 3rd, really don't want them to get 4th and we have to go there in front of 48k for the 2nd leg.

This. I think we can beat Sunderland, but not 40,000 fans influencing the ref.
Donny should have had a free kick on the edge of the box and a penalty yesterday.

But you score an early goal and 40,000 can turn on them almost instantly. .. ...
  • Coventry 1-0 up at Portsmouth
  • That last Play-Off spot certainly wont be over if Coventry can win today.

Although if Doncaster lose one game then you'd think that Peterborough might sneak into it with their game advantage

Is it me or do Coventry do well against the top sides?
  • Coventry look good so far

Peterborough have Sunderland, Pompey and Burton amongst their last 4 games though

    Pompey turn it around 2-1.

  • 2-1 Portsmouth now, their charge towards promotion continues.

This will be 7 straight wins since we beat them.
  • Pompey win and go 2nd.

Pressure on both Barnsley and Sunderland now ahead of tricky away games today.

Real pressure on Sunderland with a tough game today
  • The managers of the two teams that miss out on the 2nd automatic spot between Barnsley, Portsmouth and Sunderland are going to have to scrape their players off the floor for the play offs. They are going to be totally gutted and whichever one has to face us will not be looking forward to it one bit.

Next week's match should be a classic. If Pompey beat Sunderland next Saturday, Sunderland are out of the race for the automatics. If Pompey don't win, then it's in Barnsley's hands

Barnsley look to be back in top gear and Moore was back on the bench for them too.

Any blip and vulnerability Barnsley have shown is over now. To go 3-0 up so early at Plymouth is no mean feat. Still hoping they'll slip up and let Sunderland in but I've got a nasty feeling we're playing Sunderland over two legs now. Our season could well start and end up there.

Sunderland on a bad run bar oxford we have been unreal of late - we should fear no one, my only concern with finishing 5th is that the Sunday game atmosphere won’t be amazing and I don’t know how many we will take away on a Friday night, a lot in pub after today will not be bothering if Sunderland

Yep we will be wanting 5000 tickets if it's Portsmouth away and a 1000 will do if it's Sunderland

Watching the Quest highlights show, Barnsley looked more impressive than either Pompey or Sunderland today, Pompey were lucky to win.
