Big moment - Robertson yellow card in the 91st minute.
He misses the first leg of the 1/4 finals.
If he'd got through an extra two minutes his yellow cards would have been wiped.0 -

First time since 2008-09 that you've had four teams from one country in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League
Only other time was in 2007-08 - All three times its been English clubs
No other country has ever achieved it1 -
Only the 3rd time that 4 teams from the same country have made the quarter finals.
2007/08
2008/09
2018/19
Premier League all 3 times.1 -

Who were the teams 07-08? I’d guess it was Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U?ForeverAddickted said:First time since 2008-09 that you've had four teams from one country in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League

2008 Final of course saw Man Utd v Chelsea
2009 Final saw Barcelona beating Man Utd so despite getting four teams in the Quarters twice beforehand; an English side have only won it the once1 -
Too slow mate

Thought Id give you a chance... Although I notice on both occasions I put more effort and detail into my postsstackitsteve said:Too slow mate

The QF draw will be fascinating AND might have an effect on the PL too. Imagine if Liverpool or City draw Barcelona, that's bound to affect them in the PL fixtures around that time2

Also if the English clubs are drawn against each other and play each other around the same time in the league it could have an effectkillerandflash said:The QF draw will be fascinating AND might have an effect on the PL too. Almost 80% chance of an all English tie next
22% that the four clubs are in 4 different ties.0 -

I wonder when @dizzee will come out spout more crap about The Prem, laughable。0

Whatever tie puts Liverpool off winning the Premiership please6
-
The draw for the next round should be epic. Personally, I want ManC v Liverpool and Barca v. Juve.

We knocked out the three German clubs left in the last 16 and that can't have happened before can it?stackitsteve said:Only the 3rd time that 4 teams from the same country have made the quarter finals.

Premier League all 3 times.
If Inter beat Eintracht Frankfurt tonight then they won't have a side in either European quarter finals which has to be another first. In 2007/08 we didn't have any sides in the QF of the UEFA Cup and in 2008/09 we had just Man City but if Arsenal can turn around a 3-1 deficit tonight it will be a first for us to have six in total in the QFs of both European competitions - the six who happen also to be the top six in the PL.0 -
UEFA will hate the fact that the english sides are dominating.
I'm fully expecting to see 2 all-English ties.4 -
To be fair Ceferin doesnt seem to be as much of a prick that Platini is / was so I'd be surprised if we get any comments moaningChris_from_Sidcup said:UEFA will hate the fact that the english sides are dominating.

If we can have that in one half of the draw, I'd snap your hand off for that.NapaAddick said:The draw for the next round should be epic. Personally, I want ManC v Liverpool and Barca v. Juve.
