The influence of the EU on Britain.

Yep, that's me. Consistently calling our Corbyn on his pro-Brexit stance and his support for dictators and terrorists. And it ain't going to stop so carry on ignoring the problem and pretending he's really a nice man who is going to stop Brexit and is going to stop the rampant antisemitism in the labour party.Chizz said:
I guess the same people that thought Henry would be on here in a minute, mentioning Corbyn and not Brexit. Again.Henry Irving said:
Who would have thought that Milne, the brains behind the idiot Corbyn, was dodgy or that Leuth is so desperate to be right that he's wrong again.kentaddick said:
Just to pick this back up, it seems this was a result of a russian hack, an interesting thread from the incredible Carole CadwalladrLeuth said:0 -

Imagine if in 1956, Eden accidentally mobilised a unit of clowns instead of the armed forces to invade Egypt.
And due to a typing error they were instead deployed to Exmouth instead of Egypt.
Then once they got there they were swept out to sea and drowned.
That still wouldn't be as much of a farce as how May has handled this process.16 -
This whole thing is a fucking farce.
The Tories should not be allowed anywhere near Governing for a fucking generation.11 -

The tories have fucked this up so badly from the start.
Thankfully we have a strong opposition well ahead in the polls with an unambiguous stance on Brexit and a strong leader to bring them to account.8 -

The EU have said categorically that the WA is not up for re-negotiation (as has May) - so not sure what May could hope to achieve in kicking the can down the road.
There isn't and I'm pretty sure will never be a majority in the HoC for May's deal. On that basis I believe it's No Deal or Remain - will May ask the EU to extend Article 50 to enable a referendum to take place?

May is pathologically opposed to a second referendum, I don’t see there being one whilst she is PMbobmunro said:The EU have said categorically that the WA is not up for re-negotiation (as has May) - so not sure what May could hope to achieve in kicking the can down the road.

Remember when we used to laugh at countries like Italy for having such shambolic governments? This whole farce is ruinous for the UK's reputation.22

The real difficulty, I believe, is that there is no majority in the House of Commons for any of the potential outcomes, and even less willingness to seek anything approaching a consensus/compromise outcome.bobmunro said:The EU have said categorically that the WA is not up for re-negotiation (as has May) - so not sure what May could hope to achieve in kicking the can down the road.

Very true - she also said she wouldn’t compromise the integrity of the U.K. and that turned out to be bollocks too.kentaddick said:

Maybe she will drop the backstop to please Arlene, but it does not look like the EU will subsequently betray the Republic of Ireland.0

which would require all tories to vote for it, even though many are part of the people's vote. This is if corbs whips to vote against it as well..Rothko said:and Number 10 looking at a referendum where Remain is off the ballot according to the papers this morning.
