The club has said many things all from the mouth of a liar or multiple liars

I have said on here where I got told the aussies had no money

It was laughed at because it came from the RD side

GM told James seed there was still two that needed to sign off

Now the fact the Aussies are again still being reported to be searching for investors and the deal is in real jeopardy and Keith harris is actively working on resolving

There are still those that wish to believe a statement from known liars

This whole dirty sorry saga has been going on here since October 2017 we are two months from a year

Roland has screwed this great club to the floor by its balls and will continue to do so

Two possibly 3 parties have tickled his ego valuation enough for him to believe he is right

All we know is that in more than a yr they haven’t raised the relevant funds to invest according to their own deal broker

So it could well be as complex as 30 loan investors

Highly doubtful but still possible

There’s got to be more to the failure to complete so far other than Director loans there just has to be

So my immediate question for Richard Cawley is, were you aware of Mr de Turck's explanation at the FF only a week previously, and if so how does this version of the situation square with that one? In timing terms alone I am struggling to square the two versions of the status.

De Turck's statement from the FF is what's on the record. Clearly, Harris isn't. Neither are the EFL.

I know nothing about who said what to whom or when. I have been around a number of takeovers in my life and one of the things I have learned is that most of those involved act purely out of self interest, and will happily say or do anything to further their interests (especially off the record). The last thing they will care about are the employees or small shareholders - or in the case of Charlton the fans. You see this sort of behaviour all the time from Trump who likes to boast fo being a deal maker.

There is no point in fans falling out with each other - someone or more likely several people have not been telling the truth and are using others to further their cause and chances are we will never find out. There is only one person to whom pressure should be applied as ultimately he is the only one who can make the decision that matters. The fact that we cannot field a full team on the opening day of the season is just the latest demonstration of that idiot's incompetence - quite how any Metaxis shareholder trusts him with their investment is beyond me.

As a golfer I am only allowed 14 clubs in my bag. I could go out with less but ALL professional golfers carry the maximum as you never know what club you will need. Pro's carry a number of wedges - they would look pretty stupid breaking their sand wedge on the 12th hole & not having another wedge that they could use in an emergency & having to use a 7 iron instead.
