I was 15th rows back, really vicious knockout.
Browne looked awful, no defence!0 -
And with that AJ's stock continues to rise. Best resume of an active heavyweight without a doubt.1

Bridge was definitely seeing John Terry, not sure a historic steroid user with no cardio fitnrsd Vs an athlete was too fair but was entertaining to see the posh git getting battered and almost knocked out!AFKABartram said:Cracking celeb fight with Wayne Bridge and Spencer Matthews. Just seen that punch, Brownes head looked like a watermelon.0

Would be class if our second best heavyweight ends up beating the best from the States.2

He must’ve put on a stone In between weigh in and fight no excuses for doing that at this weightCarter said:

I wonder if whyte will become mandatory WBC challenger. He's tough enough to deal with Wilder's unorthodox style, not sure if he can hurt him sufficiently0

So AJ looking like he will come into the fight weighing 18 stone same as takam fight
Joseph Parker due to come in at his lightest ever
Now this is a problem I never considered, I always feared that the influencing people with AJ will continue this pattern on bigger is better and to attempt to blow people away
Parker being lighter than I thought shows the game plan but even if he can dance around for 12 will he have the power to KO a tiring 18 stone muscle machine
It in my mind has taken a fight that I was 70% AJ will steam roll this and win within 7
To now be more inclined for a difficult night and AJ coming through on a Hearn home decision points or a controversial late stoppage
Def makes it more interesting imo1 -
I asked my kiwi uncle who's a big boxing fan, reckons it will be AJ but has seen plenty of Parker and reckons it will be a tough night for AJ - Parker isn't a patsy and can box.
Interested in the idea that AJ will gas, that's the danger if he comes out swinging.0 -
Watching the press conference yesterday, AJ looked a lot lighter than he did for the Takam fight.
Hearn made rat-boy Higgins look like the complete cockwomble that he is by telling everyone how Higgins' leg was shaking when he was getting all trappy in trying to wind AJ up:
Higgins: “I challenge Eddie Hearn to allow Anthony Joshua to speak for himself and not to shield him. Let him speak freely. And if he comes at me, trying to bait me, I’ll get off the stage and I challenge Eddie to do the same,”
Hearn: “If your leg doesn’t stop shaking, I’m going to have to move.”
Higgins: “Stop speaking Eddie, I can smell the silver spoon on your breath.”
Hearn: "There's only one thing I can smell on your breath and that's last nights activities"
Round one to Matchroom.2 -
Hearn is such a tw@t. Sky and him have done great jobbgrowing boxing but he is an utter prick0

Eddie Hearn is a dickhead, he actually epitomises a lot of what I dislike in humanity.

I've never quite understood the criticism of AJ's stamina, the only time he has looked gassed is in the fight with Klitscho and that was an absolute war in the middle rounds, I'm setting myself up for a fall here but i see Parker in the same way i see Charles Martin, both unbeaten heavyweight world champions who have never fought anyone of any real note - i urge people to watch H.Fury vs Parker again, Fury wins that fight imo.2
-
No I think Parker won but he didn't look good in doing so, the fight came too early for HughiePelling1993 said:I've never quite understood the criticism of AJ's stamina, the only time he has looked gassed is in the fight with Klitscho and that was an absolute war in the middle rounds, I'm setting myself up for a fall here but i see Parker in the same way i see Charles Martin, both unbeaten heavyweight world champions who have never fought anyone of any real note - i urge people to watch H.Fury vs Parker again, Fury wins that fight imo.
I do agree with you in that Parker hasn't fought anyone of substance of pedigree. He has the bare necessities to cause Joshua problems but I think now Joshua has been in deep water with little Klit he should have the minerals and nouse to deal with Parker. I'm going to have a bet on Parker purely because there is sod all money to be had on Joshua and I think if Parker moves, keeps his head low and raids on Joshua he can cause an upset. If he engages in a shoot out Joshua will nail him, he likes slow moving targets2 -
I could concede that Parker won (just) but the margin on the scorecards was ludicrous. Yeah i agree i don't think any heavyweight can trade with Joshua hence why i think AJ beats Wilder and why T.Fury is the best threat to him (when fit)Carter said:

I urge everyone not to watch H.Fury v Parker. Easily the worst fight I've seen in years6

That’s def the key behind the size Parker is coming in at he intends to dance his way through the rds and try and get in and out , the issue being he will get cornered and caught his durability is questionable as he hasn’t been in with a big big hitter yetCarter said:

Betting value on this fight and bobmonro will know better than me is going to be in more unusual markets like punches per rd , I think that AJ ko Parker all day long but the weight difference really is the key to how this comes out
Rumours of 18 stone AJ will without doubt affect him from 6-10 so an upset ko from Parker in these is worthwhile
The 10-12 ko Parker will be value
No way can Parker win this on points imo Eddie won’t let it
If AJ does hit 18 stone then rds 1-5 for him to ko Parker will sit best0 -
Joshua will weigh in around half a stone too heavy to have any real pace and with that he'll probably as NLA says win on points or early KO.0

I always fancy getting into boxing and then i realise i'm 6ft3 and I could be fighting people that are 6ft7/8 and 18stone and i don't fancy it as much after that...8

If you could get down to 10st 7lbs you'd make a blinding Welterweight!!Pelling1993 said:I always fancy getting into boxing and then i realise i'm 6ft3 and I could be fighting people that are 6ft7/8 and 18stone and i don't fancy it as much after that...

Callum Smith is 6ft3 and makes super middle. Make that and never fight anyone over 12 stone.Pelling1993 said:I always fancy getting into boxing and then i realise i'm 6ft3 and I could be fighting people that are 6ft7/8 and 18stone and i don't fancy it as much after that...

Since the new year i've gone from 121kg to 104kg, still got about 10kg to lose of fat i reckon - i've got a very wide frame so i don't think i could get any lower than 90kg tbh0

Prince Arron looked unstoppable for a few fights at light middle. Until Brian Rose absolutely boxed his head off that is. Arron is about 6 foot 3bobmunro said:

That's freakish really - Hearns is 6'1" and he was considered a freak at the time at welter. Hagler is 5'9" and Leonard 5'10".Carter said:
