Very highly rated here in Spain - pretty much each week in Marca and AS there is a feature on how he is doing. As always, there is a bit of an idea that he should/will move to Real Madrid and after Modric and Bale they do consider Spurs as a bit of a feeder club even though they were beaten well by them in the Champions League this season.0

I just don't think your average armchair PSG / Real / Bayern fan would be over the moon about signing him, yet. To them he's not yet a David Beckham or a Cristiano Ronaldo or a Neymar or a Lewandowski.0 -

If that is the case (and I don't think it entirely is), then it's probably more down to the fact he plays for Spurs and not a Real, United, Barca sized club rather than anything to do with his actual achievements.Callumcafc said:

On a side note I don't really understand the fascination fans have with trying to compare players when they make incredible feats like this. Best to focus on what he has done rather than pick holes by suggesting what he hasn't done.7 -
Why not? He’s playing in a comparatively weak team in arguably the best league in the world and has the most goals in European football in the past year. He has more right to that title than Ronaldo does if we’re talking strictly individual achievement who won the Ballon D’Or on team merit.dizzee said:Great striker. True as far as all club stuff. I guess because the Ballon D'Or etc. is based on a Calendar Year performance rather than a Football season... Kane has scored 39 goals in his last 33 appearances. To put that in perspective, as a team, we have scored just 45 goals in our last 33 League matches.

Two page spread on Kane and his achievements in today's Marca, so I think it's fair to say the Spanish are keen on him. The article is typical Marca conjecture and hyperbole but they seem to think he will end up in Madrid. The only disadvantage they can see about him... he's English and we don't travel well!2
