Two Shats and Merde are so incompetent that if they signed someone called Chris Wilder, I fear it would be this one: http://handofjesseehorror.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/christopher-wilder-beauty-queen-killer.html

They're so hopeless that even if they tried to get Gene Wilder, they'd end up with Gene Hackman

This Thread I suspect is about to take a turn for the worse today.

    Yep, signs are there.

What do you think? He now wants more money or more assurances?

A fairly reliable source, told me that the length of contract is the sticking point. Don't be surprised if it's a 1 year rolling contract.

Given that he went from a successful spell at Oxford to Northampton when they were struggling, maybe he's like an adrenalin junkie and actually craves an impossible situation?

He must be aware that there are likely to be a continuation of the protests and if he doesn't start well then the crowd could turn on the team. Up until now I think we've been very restrained with the playing squad but if he does get on the wrong side of us......

Anyway, WIOTOS as Henry would say

FFS, if he's coming to Charlton he won't need more than six months.
  • Snag is Liar Liar has still not turned up for the contract discussions. Mandy Double Barrelled Brown-Nose and Tony Arselicker are dealing with everything to date.

I knew he'd never want to offer any more than 2 years. He just can't help himself can he?!

The worry is, who is he meeting to discuss the position here. KM who we know has very little success in dealing with contracts after some of the players she bought and the length of their contracts. Murray, he only does what he is told, so must come from RD, who said he leaves all the running of the club to its SM. When you look at our SM, it is a wonder we are not in a bigger mess

Massive egg on face time yet again for the regime if this goes how we all expect it to. If Wilder rejects us I hope he says why. I doubt he will though.

@seth plum when you say he blames the fans do you mean our fans or fans in general?

Apparently an Oxford fan said he is prone to doing so. This is not evidence so much as a note of caution.

He's not accepted KM's Facebook friend request yet so she can't message him with contract terms?

No worries. We don't have fans. Only customers.

and what the regime has yet to learn is that in business "The customer is always right."

    Deal Done

Northampton Town manager Chris Wilder is set to take over at Charlton Athletic after a deal between the two parties was ‘done’, according to The Times.

Journalist Gary Jacob claims the League Two title winning boss is now set to depart Sixfields alongside assistant manager Alan Knill.

He tweeted: “Charlton Athletic deal for Chris Wilder done and assistant Alan Knill set to follow from Northampton”

Old news yet again Colin when questioned on his tweet he said "Well I think it is", and then "Have you heard different?"

Wilder would like the CEO removed from his Aris before commencing duties.

To be fair someone has asked Richard Cawley about the Gary Jacobs (Times) tweet who has replied saying that Gary is someone Richard has total respect for.
