  • QPR paid over 2m for Washington I believe. Can't see us paying that.

that for a proven goalscorer albeit in a lower division .. what with Austin going for a reported 4 million, although, once more, albeit near the end of his contract, these moves put the 'Lookman question' into some perspective .. If he moves, or is it WHEN he moves. the fee will probably be no more than 1 and a half to 2 million
Like Luke Varney or Izale McLeod

It's a massive step up in pressure for the guy, having to effectively replace Charlie Austin, and at QPR a fairly turbulent club as well.

We just need QPR to come in for him. They regularly pay about 3 times the going rate.

Barnsley offer former Premier League defender a trial

Barnsley manager Lee Johnson has confirmed former Reading, Burnley and Charlton defender Andre Bikey is on trial at the club.

Bikey, who has been capped 25 times by Cameroon, was last in action for Indian Super League side North East United.

How many loan players have been successful for us over the years ? Costa ,Perry, Bulot ? Not many

Zach Clough's move to Bristol City has broken down. I reckon Bristol City must have set a record for most public rejections in a season. What the hell are they saying to these players that scares them off? Pay-rise? Check. Championship football? Check. Fun, friendly city to live in? Check? Not in Sheffield? Check. I dread to think what kind of clause there must be in the contract to see all these players running a mile. Maybe they tell them they'll have to play for us every other week.

Having said that, we could do with Clough. No doubt we're not even considering him

More useless information ... in Yorkie dialect, 'Clough' means valley .. perhaps we should sign Zac Clough/Valley to come play at the (all together now) Valley

Steve Evans has told LUTV that Leeds have put in two bids for seperate players in the last 24 hours. Assume one of them is for TW.

I've got it on good authority that he was misquoted in that article...

Apparently he said he's put in two bid for separate pie companies
