    Reza looked lazy and overweight,

Overweight?? He's so slight that he's blown over if a defender breathes on him.

He certainly isn't fit enough for this level. The fitter the player, the more work he can put in.
At this level and any level, work rate is key
I'd agree that his upper body strength is not to this level, hence yesterday he was pulled over too easily, I don't think he dived.

Its dissapointing that Poyet only got into the side when Stephens was sold against Powells wishes, I for one would havge liked to have seen him at least on the bench earlier in the season, his debut when it came was well over due.

    Poyet is 19.

PS squirty bum time sounds painful, you should get that checked...

Squirty bum time, I know that feeling.
I shat my pants when Harriott tried to dribble out of our penalty box in stoppage time.

That was directly in front of me, proper heart in mouth / shart in pants moment. If the bloke it fell to didn't skew it towards the corner flag I dread to think what the reaction towards him would've been on here.

Best news I got waking up today in Sri Lanka on my honeymoon. In fact best news on my honeymoon full stop. Don't tell my mrs!!! Well done Charlton, save some of these performances for when I return. No in fact don't. Keep at it all the while I'm away and get away from the relegation pack as quick as possible.

I do worry sometimes about Harriott's judgment...

He might not dive but he certainly plays for the foul and anticipates the challenge from the defender.

You just need some shaving gell, 2 sharp razors, a little time and some moisturiser - all will be fine

relief. Good points astrit shoots well and should do this more often; poyet and cousins and Jackson; dervite is becoming a real star; hamer also (although he still needs to be taught how to control his defence. Laurie Wilson was noticeable by his absence in defence, Morrison isn't the answer ; good to see cort back. Points for development sordell should be given more game time as he is getting better; hamer needs to shout more; all needs a good sort out in the summer. Great game for the neutral , nailbiting for everyone else. Great to see smiles on everyones face. Hope Laurie is back for Saturday.

Didn't realise Wigan dropped 8 players last night resting them for the FA Cup absolute disgrace.

That's disgraceful. They could yet slip out the playoffs. Hope they do now.

Both goals were conceded were awful as well. Not one of Hamer's better games.

True and his distribution was awful.

I was not there so only have benefit of videos, correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the first goal came off a defenders boot and sent Hamer the wrong way, and the second was an awful back header by a defender that caught everyone out. So cannot see how Hamer is to blame.

He certainly is a forward then. Lineker, Suarez would be proud of him.

Geez, if that's the case then after struggling to score all season, we've actually scored 5 in 90 minutes.

Much needed win and at last a few goals .. I got my 'wish' at last .. back 4 of Morrison, Wood, Dervite & Wiggins .. pity that my other 'wish', Wilson in midfield could not happen .. how was Morrison at right back?

Seriously Lincs it completely unbalanced the back four which had been the bedrock of our results of late. JR got away with one big time last night hopefully we won't see a repeat on Saturday if Wilson is still not fit.

The key is to beat Barnsley now - Barnsley would be lucky to get 4 points from their remaining fixtures other than that, I can't see Millwall getting more than 4 points from their last 5 and Yeovil would need to win 3 and draw one. And that is ignoring the sides we have caught up.

We only need to keep on winning every other game,as we have been despite playing all the top teams in the last 2 months, and we will be safe.

2 more wins -1 will probably do it if Barnsley but would be too nervy. Hopefully we pull away quickly.

Defence all over the place. Reza and Sordell combined and played well and the best that I have seen either of them play for Charlton. Sordell was getting into some good positions and I think will score a few more before the end of the season. Poyet immense. Good strike from AA. Forgotten how good a Charlton home victory can be. Another victory against Barnsley will be just the ticket.

    Points scored last 5 games.
    Charlton. 9
    Derby 9
    Leicester 8
    QPR 7
    Reading 7
    Brighton 5

On current form we would be in the playoffs.

  • Cort returning will be a huge boost to our cause

    Best CH at the club

I agree he is great to have back NLA, but is he really better than Morrison???

Cort's not played for months, nor in a team that is much weaker than last season.

I remember him being great in the air and a good "stopper", but I don't remember him being that great on the floor- something Riga clearly wants in a CH and has publicly lauded Dervite for in recent weeks. This is perhaps why fans have perceived Dorian as more able in recent weeks even though he is still prone to the odd error.

Erm Cort would play alongside Morrison as they have an understanding.

Is Hamer nursing a hip injury? He was stretching his hip a lot in the warm up and then appeared to limp slightly on his right side after every kick. And certainly didn't look as mobile as usual.

Dazzler, I was addressing the fact that Cort was considered the "best CH at the club". I'm not so sure.

Ever considered that Stephens was sold because we knew Diego was waiting in the wings and that with RD's arrival we could actually afford to play him.
