I actually think Millwall are the wild card now. I think they will beat Watford on Saturday and go above us. Not a disaster as long as we continue to pick up points and as you say beat Barnsley but it might just galvanise them enough to cause us to sweat and be pressurised a bit more. I still think this will go to the wire and we will need at least a point at Blackpool.MuttleyCAFC said:The key is to beat Barnsley now - Barnsley would be lucky to get 4 points from their remaining fixtures other than that, I can't see Millwall getting more than 4 points from their last 5 and Yeovil would need to win 3 and draw one. And that is ignoring the sides we have caught up.

Not something that has ever been mooted before, so in all honesty ... no, especially as Powell is supposed to have been against Stephens sale.LargeAddick said:
Ever considered that Stephens was sold because we knew Diego was waiting in the wings and that with RD's arrival we could actually afford to play him.Kap10 said:
I'd agree that his upper body strength is not to this level, hence yesterday he was pulled over too easily, I don't think he dived.purdis said:
Its dissapointing that Poyet only got into the side when Stephens was sold against Powells wishes, I for one would havge liked to have seen him at least on the bench earlier in the season, his debut when it came was well over due.0 -
I was joking. I have no idea if it's still mathematically possible. I doubt it is. Whatever happens, Roland needs to invest in this squad and back whoever the manger will be, which I hope is Riga.purdis said:

I think he scored best overall last season on the CL ratings so the consensus here is that he was the best last season. Whatever, it's still great to have him back. Now for Solly ...EdgeleyAddick said:
Dazzler, I was addressing the fact that Cort was considered the "best CH at the club". I'm not so sure.Dazzler21 said:Erm Cort would play alongside Morrison as they have an understanding.

I'll be more worried if I was Blackpool, Donny and Birmingham at the moment, they've had a bit of a gap in the last few months, that has disappeared recently.
Yeovil are gone I reckon, Barnsley have a nasty last 3 games, Millwall have an easier run in, Blackpool's is a dog though, Burnley, Brighton, Wigan and Charlton, not good, and a team really struggling.0 -
Blackpool and brum are very precarious when we win our games in hand2

I think one thing that pleases me is that in DD, we seem to have a defender who knows how to head the ball down and into the goal, from a corner instead of up and over, as seems to happen so often.1

Seriously Lincs it completely unbalanced the back four which had been the bedrock of our results of late. JR got away with one big time last night hopefully we won't see a repeat on Saturday if Wilson is still not fit.Lincsaddick said:Much needed win and at last a few goals .. I got my 'wish' at last .. back 4 of Morrison, Wood, Dervite & Wiggins .. pity that my other 'wish', Wilson in midfield could not happen .. how was Morrison at right back?

This was a bizarre match - We were hanging on towards the end and the celebrations on and off the pitch at the final whistle resembled a promotion party. Morro was badly missed from our rearranged central defence; with more composure in front of goal, Yeovil could well have been ahead at half time. It was good to see us press forward after the break and continue our extraordinary run of midweek wins.

I was meaning that I would not call Charlton's current football 'good form' - the results are better but football not up there with the top 6 league positionsThe Red Robin said:

It was a bizarre match as we took the lead - gifted an equlaiser - then looked a bit nervy before easing our way back into the game and reaching half time looking like we were close to scoring - then we looked very good and confident in the second half scoring two goals before gifting them one back and looking a bit nervy again. The bizarre thing was for me that we were quite a bit better than them, but rather than being Jekyll and Hyde from game to game, we displayed this in the same match!0

Performance under extreme negative pressure is far from easy to achieve so by and large I would consider it as very good form.purdis said:

I fail to see what is wrong with this....Its normally the other way around if you have team this close to the semi finals of a major trophy. Id forgive them for wanting to rest their best playersDippenhall said:Didn't realise Wigan dropped 8 players last night resting them for the FA Cup absolute disgrace.

Normally wouldn't bother me but to give the Spanners a leg up is sacrilege, hope Wigan get stuffed in the Cup and the Play Offs should they qualify.skippy4254 said:

For all the nervousness, Yeovil didn't actually create a great deal in the 2nd half. They blew their real chance in the opening half hour when they missed a few very good openings. Interspersed with Yeovil's chances, we had good chances of our own (Reza from a brilliant Wiggins run and the good save from Sordell) so I say well done to the team for producing a spirited display and actually looking like they might score and entertain.

Dazzler...let's pray Hamer doesn't have an injury. The thought of that French clown between the posts slapping at every cross sends shivers down my spine!!2

You'd forgive Wigan for helping Millwall get three points??skippy4254 said:
