One of the big concerns for me is that Anderson has bowled poorly all series - taking only 11 wickets so far - including a 4-for in Melbourne.Maybe could be next to follow Swann- Cook has hardly bowled him today - and maybe he should only play in home series?0 -

Nah, no way, not from the likes of Onions - too similar a bowler, Jimmy is a much better bowler than Onions, and Onions would have the same problem overseas as Jimmy. But who he might be under pressure from is the likes of Overton should he have a good start to the season, and is over his injury.Ormiston Addick said:

Indeed it is but he is in the team as the spinner. Swann, Monty and Tredders (in the ODIs) have all been targeted and the time not to bring him on is when they are 220-5 because, by that time, they are seeing it like a football.mrbligh said:not so sure about that. The pace is going nicely,

A couple of overs shouldn't do any harm against two new batsmen who are both expecting seam up both ends. At 94-4 the pressure is on the batsmen against a bowler who will be turning the ball away from them.
So, a slip, a gully and a brave short leg and make sure you invite them to hit over the top by keeping mid on and mid off up.
