The vast majority of the celebrating and singing was good natured throughout the game and at the end, nearly every song was sung mocking them and all the throat slitting gestures, our support shouted them down and by doing so negated the 12th man element throughout the game, in doing so it greatly assisted our team.

A flare was thrown, it landed no where near anyone, speaking to a Millwall fan of a similar age on the train he said how loud and impressive our support was.

My view was that today was loud vocal support for the team, boisterous at times but riotous no, I saw a number of regular posters on here, all smiling and shouting, none had turned into mouth frothing idiots. Lets not overeact

My 7 year old came today his first derby, no real dramas to report

Yeah, but you're a war historian. Your sense of perspective has become warped ;-)
  • Take the video down unless you want to get done by the police.
  • Why? I was trying to justify one the many rumours on this thread?

I think the last few posts have, to an extent, proved my point!

  • Interesting videos on that YouTube account.
  • fuck the rumours. You will get someone knicked
  • Just take it down who cares of it was or wasn't. Your only a lad and you'll get a shit load of abuse,
  • Everyone there knows it happend

For those who don't believe a chair

That was not the chair in question, I was the left side of the goal and it came over my head, there were over 20 backs of chairs thrown from our end. Shit all up the wals of the loos and people pissing on the walls outside the loos on the burger stalls.

Was a great atmosphere but we went to far and I'm a very vocal fan. There is a line and many crossed it today.

Sat in a bus for over an hour cause of the trouble! FUMING.

P.s the flare was no where near the kid. And millwal started the crap with ripping the plastic decide. Which we didn't do.

  • Done, sorry if I upset anyone :S
  • And the person who just quoted it take it off there

Can I just point out that people are getting the idea of a flare and a smokebomb mixed up in relation to near hitting the ball boy.

The FLARE was NOWHERE NEAR the ball boy, the SMOKEBOMB NEARLY HIT the ball boy.

It wasn't a rumour about the seat being thrown although that wasn't the seat I saw thrown. I see one go towards there crowd
  • First away game today, walked in the wrong way from surrey quays, ended up walking in with about four pub loads of them. Had to pop back out to get to the north entrance and got on to the road among the 'wall right when they were getting fired up against our lads at the South end pre-match. Took a bit to separate them.

Was in Lower and saw it kicking off a bit so decided to leave, walked out with the Mrs and had no trouble at all. Just us and them leaving without looking for any trouble.

A couple of unsavory incidents aside, our support was cracking - kept right up at it all game, good humour, took the piss and got it back. Just what you'd expect. Good times.

As someone else said - police and security had their hands full dealing with it all and did a fine job.
