Anyone else planning on going the Arena Square fan zone before hand? Seems ideal for a couple of drinks next to the stadium to soak up the atmosphere if the weather is ok
yes mate - large group of us with kids, aiming to get there for around 11 - did it last time and was really good and easy to get served
See you there mate, doing breakfast at London Bridge first
This is our plan too now the weather is looking better - meet at LB and head up to the fan zone

Yep, given the early kick off time that seems like the best bet rather than getting into a pub for 9am or whatever. Met Office is saying it’ll be dry, fingers crossed that turns out to be true!

All forecasts looking like rain overnight and then sunny / cloudy from around 10/11 so might be perfect weather now (no sunburn. warm enough to be outside). Wind might impact the game, but not sure how wembley 'bowl' afffects wind flow anyway.

That's where I'm going with my kids to meet up with other family and some pals.

Was the perfect spot in 2019,  close to our turnstiles and a good atmosphere as CAFC from the Green Man streamed past on the raised walkway that runs past it.

Only downer would be if the heavens open but hopefully be no worse than a few showers.

Do you have to queue to get into Green Man or is it just a free-for-all?

Everybody in my group is going there beforehand....looked heaving there last time around.

Do they have separate fan zones for each club then? Might be a nicer hangout with younger kids. Can’t see my five-year old wanting to hang around in a pub beforehand.

Yes, we have Arena square (funnily enough, outside wembley arena).  They did some entertainment there for kids last time + bars were alright.

Was thinking about it but it looks like it only opens at 11am ie a bit tight for a 1pm KO.

For anyone interchanging at Farringdon there's decent spoons a couple of minutes walk from the station entrance. The Sir John Oldcastle.

Corner House is pretty handy and was good in 2019....though it may only open at 12 so a quick pint and then 10 mins to your seat.

Baker Street, Spoons. Its easy, cheap and probably have a meal deal.
Will be banged out, Baker Street is a very popular place for a pre Wembley beer.

Depending on how it all goes.....The Shipwrights Arms outside London Bridge station was really good back in 2019.....after we had won.

Anyone know if the arena square fan zone has toilet facilities? I assume it does but can't see any confirmation online.

I can't imagine a place selling alcohol not having toilet facilities 🙈 soon as that tap opens would be mayhem.
