Close call...I work in prisons, so managed to bring a meeting forward to 1, rushed the governor through the meeting, got back to the manager's office to get in the queue. All good, like 214 in the queue, and got into the site quite quickly. Got the tickets bagged, went to pay.
Bloody one time passcode needed.
Mobiles aren't allowed in prison, so queue the panic, and a manic fast walk (not allowed to run in prison either) from the furthest point from the main gate as I could possibly be, an a jog all the way round to the back of the prison to my car, get the code, call the office where a colleague was waiting for the code. I'm knackered, sweating and not looking good but happy and totally worth it!!! See you Sunday! Whoop whoop!!
well done! I have similar when I'm at work, but without such a long walk. But I'm WFH and didn't get any Started waiting early but ended up only 2100 in the queue, which scuppered me
How many non Charlton fans have tickets whilst long-term regulars don't?
This conspiracy theory is getting out of control
Is it a conspiracy to ask if any non-Charlton fans have tickets rather than be claiming they have? I must re-phrase my words as I meant long term supporters not currently season ticket holders, else we'd have been ok
There was a minibus of us up from Hythe for the 1998 final, including a very excitable Aussie who got quite the treat for his first live football match. Twas ever thus, you can't escape the fact there will be a few mates and hangers on there. But I can't believe for one second any Charlton regular will miss out given the way the phases were arranged.

It is - seriously overestimating a neutral interest in League One.
how many more do we genuinely think we could sell i would say at a push 5/6000?
Based on current sales rate and compared to last time around, another 10-12k, which is then more than last time in total, however we have no real idea of number of tickets sold so far

Well we have so far, but hopefully will get more tickets. But they could go just as easily, unfortunately
They don't even have to delay the general sale from tomorrow afternoon. Just make extra tickets available asap and allow members to purchase up to 2pm tomorrow, when they then, if still available, go on general sale. Don't understand why each phase has to start at 2pm.
Yes gutted. No tickets for me and 10 year old grandson. First Wembley final I will have missed unless more are released to us. Needless to say if anyone has any spares please DM me. Happy to have two adults if it gets us there. I am still holding onto hope. 55 years of supporting Charlton.
Keep trying, seats are still appearing. Even if it says sold out, refreshing again can change that and more will hopefully pop up.
If not, I’m sure we’ll get more and there will be spares.

Because they need to actually ask Wembley for the extra allocation, they won't just conjure up an extra 8k seats with immediate effect
Wembley has a capacity of 90k, so assuming that Orient sell a maximum of 25k, at present 60k have been sold.
Taking away a very generous 10k for corporate I would have a guess Charlton could be given another 10k.
From afar, it does not seem to be a problem the availability, more a case of being able to purchase them.
They don’t chop Wembley 50/50. Issues around sharing turnstiles are the big factor. Can’t really have thousands of fans from each side in a queue to enter the ground right next to each other.
Sunderland in 2022 got just shy 44k, Birmingham in the trophy got about the same. Imagine they will give us that max, and the remaining seats will be in tier 5. Dependant on Orient shifting between 20k -25k tickets.

How can they “just make extra tickets available asap” if all of the original allocation has pretty much been sold and additional allocation hasn’t yet been provided?

It's never a full 90k though. Palace and City at the weekend both sold their allocations, attendance was given as 84k.
But you're right, we will be given more. Another (possible) 10k fans paying 40 quid a ticket plus whatever they spend in and around the ground, Wembley aren't turning that down.

I'd say good chance they've made arrangements prior to today to get extra tickets once it sells out given the hype around the club lately and the sell out in the semi's.

Absolutely, but there will be lots of instances of people buying the max out on the off chance they have people who may want them. E.I they need two definitely and two more are a maybe.
Never thought I’d have to compare a charlton ticket to toilet paper but it’s like that 😂

We effectively sold 11k in 45 mins and there is small cohort on here saying they haven't got tickets yet. Extrapolate that to the outside world and I genuinely believe we could sell another 10-12k possibly more. Seems the demand for this is unprecedented.

But that conversation really shouldn't take very long, as it's not like it is anything unusual.

Am trying that even though I have work to do, but only singles coming up or it goes before you get there
This morning, I have been trying to help @SoundAsa£ with a ticket, he has been receiving an error code once he has got into Wembley match tickets. He had to key in his email address and password and then ERROR CODE popped up.

and just to break down the numbers for the last couple of Finals, ignoring the COVID years, and inc. the attendance the last time Orient made the Final
2024: 70,472 (Oxford vs Bolton) 2023: 72,492 (Barnsley vs Sheff Wed) 2022: 72,332 (Wycombe vs Sunderland) --- 2019: 76,155 (Charlton vs Sunderland) --- 2014: 43,401 (Leyton Orient vs Rotherham)

I believe the playoffs are actually the domestic matches that have the most fans from each side in attendance, because there’s nowhere near as many tickets that go to corporate hospitality or the “FA family” as FA Cup (or even League Cup) finals.

Edit - too late, but keep the faith - message people on the Spares thread or wait for the next sales drop.
Just keep refreshing, blocks are popping up every minute or so

Just got 2 next to each other and I think they were the only seats in the block.
Was just going back and forth on the upper tier purple seats always saying sold out etc
That process was more tense and worrying then I thought it would be.
