Everyone panicking (yet again) to see the mighty Charlton and as it stands there's about 8-9k tickets still available of our initial allocation and I'd imagine the vast majority of people wanting to go to the game got a ticket yesterday as most of them are season ticket holders or know someone who is. Sales will slow down for a while after another rush today at 2pm, and no doubt we'll then hear about how Orient have only sold 21k tickets and they're giving us another 2 or 3 blocks on each side of the top tier, and suddenly there will be another 5k tickets up for grabs

I personally think the phase after Valley Gold should've been anyone who has a purchase history for games this season rather than everyone on the database,

But it is what it is

That's how I see it too. Plus the likelihood is that we will also get some middle tier tickets released late on for seats held back by Wembley for their "Diamond Geezer" corporate jolly-up, which probably wont sell as well as it might due to the 1pm kick off time.

Everyone is talking about tickets available in the ‘Heavens’ (Wembley upper)…and given NJ celebrations against Wycombe…it’s all getting a little too biblical for me!

As an atheist I feel NJ would prefer for me to sit lower down…closer to hell 😂

Any idea whether more seats will be released in the lower tiers?
I think it’s unlikely. If we get extra tickets from Orient I would assume they will be upper tier. Only chance of lower tier extras would be unsold hospitality maybe?
Orient fans have been saying that they only had seats available at the eastern end of the stadium.

Their website also states the following 'Tickets will be sold on a block-by-block basis in an order determined by Wembley Stadium.'.

They may actually give the central category one blocks to us if we sell out our allocation and Orient don't. Quite a few Orient fans are unhappy that they haven't been able to buy any category one seats and this still doesn't appear to have changed.

I don't know how many tickets Orient will sell, but I suspect that it will be more than a lot of people on here are expecting.

Orient's allocation goes on general sale at 10:00 on Wednesday and, as I had to sit in the home end when we played them away this season, I suspect that I will be eligible and can get an idea of what they have sold.
Our man in the Orient. 💼🕵️‍♂️👁️

Silly question (and apologies if answered previously)

How can you tell on your account if your valley gold is connected to it?
Stick a ST in your basket, if your VG is linked itl deduct £15.

    Only if they're VG
May I be the first to say it's outrageous pets with VG are given priority for this game 😉

I watched up in the heavens in 2019 it was a great view and atmosphere.
Any view is good to watch Charlton

View is fine, but atmosphere I found to be non existent. 98 we were next to the Trophy steps and it was amazing.

If it was up to me, I'd be in the upper tier, best view of the game. Unfortunately, someone I'm with has a fear of heights so it's a no go.

There isn't a bad seat in the house to watch Charlton at Wembley, come on.

This is a little confusing, because I don't seem to get a discount on a ST even though I've had VG since December. But then I only pay monthly, so maybe not made enough payments. It does say purchased before 30th April so not sure if that means fully purchased or just signed up and registered.

The first 10 or so rows behind the goals are generally awful. You’re sort of almost below pitch level and have absolutely no idea what is going on at the opposite end.

Seems to have been a bit of a car crash…went online yesterday at 5pm, two season tickets, 620 loyalty points, were those in the top tier which I wasn’t expecting the number sold by 5pm, which was my fault. The club art not going to make everyone happy and was always going to be open to criticism regardless.
It is a given that there will be day trippers of those who have got tickets, ie neighbours, work colleagues, friends and family whom don’t support the club.
Dare I say it that fans may not be totally computer literate, or have access to the internet yesterday, find themselves with a task of taking seats in the top tier or sadly miss out.
The Orient ticket office was open, to sell their allocation, but we elected to sell online only. It maybe would have been ideally to have two per season ticket holder, scrap all the Valley Good allocation, do a sliding scale on number of loyalty points, and then general sale, which by that time the majority of fans would have got their tickets.
As I said earlier the club are always going to be dammed, and have underestimated the demand meaning there are genuine fans or those that have been previously will either miss out or have no choice where to sit.
The remaining seats will be sold today.
Orient sales are not going well,  this is probably the floating fans in that area who either support Tottenham, West Ham or Arsenal are either at home next weekend or have played in European cup final, meaning there is a chance of getting more tickets.
One more clean sheet and sniffer dog goal on Sunday please.
    Up the Charlton.
Why is your idea to scrap Valley Gold priority entirely?

They haven't even had the chance to get tickets yet, as VG opportunity to buy is today at 2pm.
Those that have Valley Gold, would have a season ticket. I cannot imagine anyone just having Valley Gold. Personally I would rather see genuine fans getting tickets with the points system. Only my opinion/
We have VG only, no season tickets. The academy would suffer enormously if they took up your idea.
Also, if you're correct, and we're unique,  then nobody below VG only is going to suffer.

Exactly. And surely this is the main point.

Yes, it might be annoying if you can't have the exact seat you wanted, or sit immediately next to all of the people you've ever known, but surely the main thing is to get yourself a bloody ticket for the raffle.

And there are thousands of them left still, with potentially more to come.

That's why they're cheaper on many of the stadium plans (on the Sheffield seat map they're a pricing tier lower than behind the goal but higher up the stand)

We've gone behind the goal but row 20 so should be a decent view

I think there should be priority if you buy a programme at every game.

Why stop there. I mean you have gotta be pretty hardcore buying a pie from the club?

Having done the double over Orient this season you could argue they're our "bunnies" (along with a few other sides) and they're being allowed in.

Likewise. Anything from row15 upwards is fine.

    The shambles continues

My fan id still has no season ticket assigned to it
My fan ID doesn't acknowledge my Valley Gold membership
Wembley still not responded to my enquiry about a box for 20
Phone number for the hospitality is a recorded message saying how closed they are
Chat bot for Hospitality has a link for your enquiry.  That link doesn't work.

So glad the £15k a year on season tickets that we spend is acknowledged.
