Tonight I'm gonna camp in the living room. Mattress from the spare bed down there and alarm set for 2.

After that I'll probably just get up for the 2nd session.

Does anybody know how to watch the Ashes without the ludicrous TNT sub, which is nearly impossible to cancel once bought.
It's free to air over there so will be flying the phone around the southern hemisphere, will report back if the VPN gets a result. I'm too tight to pay TNT.

what are the session times for the first two tests ?
    Struggling to justify the subscription

Alarm set for 2am tonight. Praying we bowl first so it isn't immediate wind out the sails  :)
I'll probably go to bed about 9 and get up for the last two sessions.
thats exactly what I'm doing now.
Off to bed, alarm set for 4:45am for start of 2nd session.  Good job Mrs JB is still in NY otherwise I would be getting proper ear ache.

Get the kids to school quick in the morning, hopefully wont miss much :)

Win the toss and bat them out of the game. Bazball is a bluff.

A bluff??  We've spent the last few years playing an exciting brand of cricket & winning games from seemingly impossible situations.

Changing the style of play now would be madness!

Hoping the England team have a set of Mastermind style trivia questions ready to go for when Steve Smith comes out to bat.

I fear England's batting is being slightly overrated in this thread

England haven't won a match in two series in Australia... Up there with Italy having not qualified for two world cups. I'll just take a single match. However I'm unreasonably excited about this

When England are 45-4, that excitement will subside  :D
