He was worse than Thomas Driesen, quite an achievement
No, steady on. Driesen was part of getting rid of actual Yann Kermorgant and replaced him with some work experience kids. In fact the only thing they have in common is they both thought George Dobson was rubbish. No-one will ever be worse than Mowgli and I hope his tits fall off
I've no idea whether he chose to leave or was pushed, but leaving aside my feelings about the job he's done, his invisibility over the last couple of months made it obvious that something had changed.
Indeed, I never asked it at the session in January, but the obvious question would have been what Scott actually does these days.
Out of interest does anyone know who did the scouting and made the decision to get Ramsey, Lloyd Jones and Thierry Small to CAFC?
We have quite a few on CL who are ITK so what's the answer ?
We know Scott was behind some duds and Michael Appleton was one of his worse decisions.
The theory is that Jones brought Ramsay and Small in. He’d worked with them both before and when Jones was rumoured but not announced there were rumours from ITKs that he had a couple of players lined up
If I remember correctly, I think Lloyd Jones signed before the takeover, so would have been Holden’s signing
Coventry is pretty much the only Andy Scott success story in terms of recruitment. Outside of that, bringing in Will Abbott another of his few successes

Wasn't Appleton heavily involved with the Coventry deal?

Yes, from when Coventry was at Lincoln on loan from the Hammers and Mickey Apples was the gaffer.

Well, Connor’s Mum made him a cup of tea.
Problem is Appleton couldn’t drink it because his hands were still on his pockets.
Thing is, did he jump ship or was he pushed, he has "other opportunities" apparently, probably surface somewhere soon in another poor un suspecting club...

He was approached, but said he was happy where he was.

Charlie Methven, come on down...
Should have gone after the George Dobson debacle.

Nathan Jones and the Luton lads was stated.

The only good thing about Appleton is the signing of Conor Coventry which I believe he had managed at Lincoln.

Gardening?
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Completely useless at his job. Nathan Jones wins with a good piece of help from Carter I would imagine.

Also, "we" failed to secure a winger so will be reliant on TC/Small for the rest of the season now.
