Does anyone know when the deadline is for Sky to move this game? Would like to start making plans!
    Next Thursday is most likely.
Isn’t the agreement 28 days? Next Thursday is 23.

In reality the the EFL probably know and Charlton may too.

Think someone posted a few pages ago that for the penultimate game of the season the notice is three weeks not the usual four, or something like that.

OK hadn’t seen that. They will have to agree it with the police though.

Vast majority of the growth is sponsorship. It’s OK if you can sustain it or build a club off the back of it, but otherwise there will be a hell of a comedown.
So if increasing income from sponsorship is perilous , what income stream would you say is
    safe.
For me we should be looking at ways for our club to boost all the areas that Wrexham are out performing us in, that or get open handed multibillionaires.
    😂

    Soddin' Wrexham...😴😴😴
  • I presume that would purely be for world safety or do Wrexham have some oilfields and precious metals to hand?

There are a lot of mothballed coal mines and also a lot of under utilised children that could go down them so right up his street
  • A non decision on a fixture schedule issue but in line with the Sky deal warrants a statement but that club announcement on potentially closing  the JS stand on a trial basis next season  does not. 🤔

  • Bet this game moves for TV now, especially with the gap closing tonight

Basically because there are no details on the JS plans or otherwise yet - almost certainly depends what division we are in.

By then it will be whether the taffs can go up on the day.
  • We should know tomorrow if this game is going to be moved for TV, will be interesting to see when the club put the tickets on sale. As they say they put them in sale the day they received them.

Can’t see it not being on TV. Just depends what day/time they shift it to. As we play at Wycombe on the Monday just hope it’s not shifted to Thursday evening.

So CAST are going to support closing it for a cost saving for our smaller away supporters and see home fans moved (even if a small number) ?

I don’t see how you can support this or need any more details from the club to  opine.
  • Hard to fathom how the additional stewarding and the requisite segregation in East or West ends up costing less to implement than keeping the JS for visitors, especially as we'll always have a very good idea how few visiting punters will be showing up.
An empty stand/end always looks proper shit on telly too.

Sorry - where have you read that CAST is supporting this? There is nothing to support (or oppose) yet!

I’ve challenged the silence of no comment.

I’m struggling to see how CAST could support any proposal for this. The club have already outlined the proposal of some testing.

To me it should be an immediate response to the effect of can’t imagine why we would support it.

Can you reasonably outline a scenario where we should want one stand closed ?

  • All will be revealed tomorrow?
  • Back on topic, we will sell this out regardless of when we play it.
The importance of the game coupled with this will be a new ground for 99% of the fans there.

i'd like to think that would have happened last night but we need more stars aligned

Not new for me. I went there in 1981 44 years ago.
    Same here
  • I remember the 0-0 at home 3/11/73 because in those days our games used to have loads of goals. Probably the first 0-0 I'd seen.
