Going to be a lot of football tourists so im not expecting a great atmo sadly. Great to see the place filled though
Most off the ground will be full of YouTubers by the sounds of it.
  • Judging by the most expensive seats like middle blocks of the AC stand being sold out I can see there being more than a few tourists

Be nice to win and 5% of them come back again

Short term gain but in reality the crowd will be what you saw this afternoon between now and the end of this season

It’s just an inflated fiver a ticket a game

I tried to book my normal seat in the north upper G block and someone had taken it. Only a handful of seats left.

I know a couple of Arsenal fans that have got tickets in the AC stand too.
  • Last time we played them was February 1982 so it will be a popular game for those who only go to the Valley one or twice a season, just for the novelty.
  • I booked my tickets tonight very few pairs of seats together left in the whole ground. I can easily see it doing 22k .

Blows my mind people will moan that others want to watch our football club. Who cares if it’s their first game? Everyone has to start some time.
Ignore Golfie. He’s officially the most miserable bugger that ever joined CL . We’re used to it.
I can ignore Golfie but there’s a whole thread of others moaning about it too, it’s crazy

That's the point. You go to a football match the watch the match. Not to spend a third of it on the concourse supping a pint. If you want a drink stay in the fucking pub

Lost count the amount of times today that I had to let people in or out of my row whilst the match was going on. Not to mention the amount of people ambling up the stairs who then stop right in front of me blocking my view.

But no need to worry about me. I've got my ticket for next week but then I'm out.
    Golfie, just out of interest.

Why come to the Wrexham game, and then give up on the rest of the season?

Find this a bit weird. I get it if you've only just got into football/only like Wrexham because of the documentary, but why do people who already support other teams care?
My mate who is Arsenal, wants to go Wrexham away with me, it's bonkers.

My little online gaming bunch have also been talking about the game and saying how big it is etc. It's mental.

  • A week ago I was told they were expecting over 20k there so it sounds like it should be a good one

Tbf, they're not there to watch our football club are they. The home stands are going to have loads of people in who want Wrexham to win.

What happens if/when Wrexham score and people celebrate in the covered end?
  • I’d be surprised if there are actual adults there celebrating if Wrexham score. There might be some kids and that’s fine by me too. I understand being concerned about the atmosphere etc. but personally it’d make me sing louder and increase the atmosphere if I could make it. I’d want to do everything I could to make it enjoyable and so people came back

You're fine with people celebrating the opposition goals in our end? I'm sorry but that is total fucking madness.

If a 6 year old kid is excited then who does that do harm to? I don’t actually think it’ll happen either for what it’s worth. I’ve seen no reports from any clubs of supposed Wrexham fans celebrating their goals in home ends, I think it’s just a hypothetical thing for people to moan about

Orient had just under 9k for their game with them a few weeks ago. Not quite capacity but a decent boost over their usual gate. Id be surprised if we get over 26k, but won't be complaining if its close.

Due to commitments in the morning I won't be able to get to my season ticket seat in the AC stand until just after kick off, guaranteed some c*nt will be sitting in it already who Ill have to turf out.

    A couple of reasons......

I've already bought my ticket (part of the tripple bundle)

I've seen enough to know we ain't getting out of this league this season

Sold our top goalscorer & having given it 12 games I've seen enough to know that was a stupid decision.

But probably the biggest reason is I've had multiple eye surgeries over the past 10 years which has left my vision not great under lights. Come November we will be playing under floodlights which means I cant see so well.
