go on the website to buy a ticket and you’ll see it’s much fuller than normal. I don’t quite get the appeal either but it’s clearly there
I’d be surprised if there are actual adults there celebrating if Wrexham score. There might be some kids and that’s fine by me too. I understand being concerned about the atmosphere etc. but personally it’d make me sing louder and increase the atmosphere if I could make it. I’d want to do everything I could to make it enjoyable and so people came back

There is only a 15 minute window to get served at half time if you want to watch every kick of the match. Those that go down to the bar early are doing a favour to those that wait for the half time whistle to go but still want to try and get a drink or something to eat. Heaven forbid that everybody waits for the whistle before jumping up and trying to get down the tunnels at the same time. They’d all be still queuing to get down there when the second half kicks off.

Is it usual to eat something at 3.45 in the afternoon ? Most people eat lunch between 12 & 2 and have an evening meal between 6 & 8pm. Needing to have a burger & chips in the middle of the afternoon strikes me of bad meal planning.
I sympathise with those who have bladder issues & need to use the toilet regularly, but most people leaving the match between 3.40 & 4.10 are under 50 years of age.
I just wonder what they all do during the other 6 days of the week. No wonder why GDP growth in this country is in the doldrums as the workforce is constantly taking 30 min breaks during the day.
I don’t care for the reasons, motives nor opportunism, but cannot wait to be back in a packed Valley for the first time in about 5 seasons. I hope the significantly boosted numbers can spur the lads on to a win and we get a reminding glimpse of some of our better times as a fanbase.

This really is the ultra negative view. I suspect a of the extra fans are Charlton fans who may be lapsed or come to 3 or 4 games a season. Probably some other locals attracted by the extra publicity that Wrexham have got. If you were an occasional fan would you have chosen Stockport or Wrexham. I really can't understand this view that your not a Charlton supporter unless you've had a season ticket for 30 years. I do wish people would grow up and start seeing some positives in our club.
If more neutrals come and buy seats and enjoy the day then maybe they will start to come regularly and not just for Wrexham. Maybe they'll even become fans...and that would be a good thing - surely?

Using that logic, I don’t need to go to a football match in the first place. But I work all bloody week, doing things that I do need to do, so I can do things I want to do at a weekend. If that means having a couple of pints a bite to eat at the football then I don’t think that’s a problem, and if you need to leave a couple of minutes before halftime to make sure you get served and back to your seat before the start of the second half then so be it.
The club should introduce a fan league based system with different colour badges so the “proper” fans are easily identified ! And any new fans should be made to wear a badge that read “apprentice” just so everyone knows their place 😂 😂 😂
I think one the advantages of nearly selling out for the Wrexham game are that the owners (who no doubt will be over) will have it confirmed that the valley can be sold out. That might lead to further investment to the squad and the infrastructure especially if they see the chaos caused by the queues etc for the shop, beer, fan zones etc., which will indicate wasted opportunity for extra income. Yes, there will be inconveniences for us season tickets holders, but these might lead to better things (or might not).

They are probably more likely to buy at special occasion games, even now. Racking the price, as they already have this season, will kill it altogether.

Depends what you define as a big crowd though. Our biggest crowd of the season so far saw us beat Birmingham.
Blows my mind people will moan that others want to watch our football club. Who cares if it’s their first game? Everyone has to start some time.

Lost count the amount of times today that I had to let people in or out of my row whilst the match was going on. Not to mention the amount of people ambling up the stairs who then stop right in front of me blocking my view.
But no need to worry about me. I've got my ticket for next week but then I'm out.
A lot of people were caught out by th very reduced train service. Only half hourly from London Bridge. No trains between Dartford and Plumstead.
I can’t bear the thought of travelling down on the train for this one as they are bound to be full of Wrexham fans so I’m driving. Any suggestions on parking please ?
