Wow. Great run by Rashford. Konsa pulls further clear of Gomez in terms of goals scored.

What a save from Donnuarumma. PSG have forgotten how to play football and are all over the place.

Pretty sure English/British football is the outlier here and it’s more common in Europe. Agree it’s all a bit mad though

Shocking call to give a FK against Tielemans for that challenge

The use of injury time in European competitions is ridiculous

Like the Euro 2024 Final, injury time seems to get added, but then nothing gets accounted for further time wasting... So if you're winning you might as well just take as long as you can for a GK etc.

Confused alone how just three minutes can be added in a half with so many substitutions, and goals now.

Crazy game. PSG were brilliant for the first half an hour and then after that Villa were incredible.

Wonder if we could make a cheeky bid for Donnarumma?

Brilliant effort in their first ever Champions League adventure, in a very different football era to their European Cup win 40 years ago.

Konsa’s going to be replaying that missed header a few times in his mind over the coming days and weeks

    Thoughts on Madrid v Arsenal?

A lot of people are hyping up a Madrid comeback, but personally i can't see it. Arsenal very rarely concede 3 goals and this Madrid side are a shadow of the ones in previous years.

I can see Madrid winning it, as Arsenal won't need to push even if they go behind, but only by something like 2-1.

    Madrid 2-1, then Gunners/PSG semi

3-2 either way and arsenal go through

Arsenal to get through after a nervous finish. Ancelotti to announce tomorrow that he'll be standing down at the end of the season.

2-0 to Real tonight, Arsenal to be really nervy but sneak through (then lose to PSG).

5-0 Madrid, Arteta implodes and his LEGO head hair blows off.

I think tonight is just the kind of game and environment where Arsenal will implode. Couple of early Madrid goals and they'll crumble

So many times Real Madrid find an extra gear from losing positions in the Champions league.
3-0 up for Arsenal but any score is possible tonight if Real score early doors.

Pen to Arsenal, foul at a corner, see it every week, good, hopefully it will stop all the pulling.

Really odd penalty that, no way the Arsenal player will get the ball. If that’s a penalty you’d expect 4/5 to be given each game

It’s not about getting the ball.

Of course, by the letter of the law it’s a pen but there would also be multiple pens a game if applied consistently

Shocking penalty. Was that REALLY what he been practicing?
