  • Surely now they have Ugarte, this is the last time Casemiro plays for United.

Lost possession 11 times including for both goals.
Then they're stuck paying him 350k a week for another 2 years! Terrible transfer business. If Madrid are happy to let a player go you surely ask yourself why?

Fear not. They've Eriksen on the bench.

    One old dud for another!
  • Liverpool and Slot look a match made in heaven. If City get their deserved points hammering, then Liverpool will be very hard to beat this year
he Slots right into his new role
  • Spurs have totally dominated this second half, should easily be in front, then one ball carves the entire defence apart and they're 2-1 down.
Two pictures that sums it up for me...

    Joelinton turns away from Maddison...
Romero squared up on half way...

    Let the play run through...

Look where Romero is when Isak taps in...
    Absolutely disgusting.

We played more than well enough to win that game but lack of killer instinct in front of goal is a major problem.

All teams need to do is set up in their shape, knowing Spurs will come on to them and a single straight ball between FB and CB tears Spurs open time and time again.

Rinse and repeat like banging your head against a wall FFS.
  • Bloody Chelsea cant do anything right
I know what you mean, but take solace in the fact that these two wanky clubs shared just 2 points rather than 3.
    😎

Would love to see them both go down.
  • This is brilliant. Ten Hag next manager to be sacked?
  • Liverpool are playing some lovely stuff.
  • United are absolutely abysmal

Yeah I’d guess so, pretty sure he recently signed a contract extension in the summer which was a weird move from United.

  • Rashford not had a shot all season.
He's playing up front for Manchester United.
    So so bad!

The commentary for this Utd v Bin Dippers is already making my ears bleed 😩
Thats Carragher for you. Never understand why Sky allow him to commentate on Liverpool games, hardly an unbiased opinion is it.
    It’s more Drury tbh.
Talks in riddles and screams the players names every time they shoot.
I reckon Neville & Carragher must have tinnitus sat next to him!
Drury is absolutely awful. The screaming every time there’s a shot is horrofic, and the silly, prepared monologues are even worse.
He's such a social media commentator - gets on my tits
  • Man United squad management is probably the worst in the country.

How can you manage to get worse every single season after transfer windows.
  • The problem was Fred, the problem was Maguire, the problem was McTominay, yet all of them are replaced and they're still no better. You've got to laugh.

Ugarte in for Casemiro is the only hope. If they're still shit then i don't know where they go next.
  • Just read that Chelsea have extended Jackson’s contract to 2033 !! wtf is going on there ? A 9 year contract ffs 🤦

Ugarte in won't change the fact they have a clown in goal, can't score goals and their main playmaker spends half his game sniffing the turf

Even if you’re relying on him coming good, (which, to be fair, might happen) he hasn’t performed anywhere near well enough to warrant being rewarded like this. He hasn’t just been underperforming, he’s been awful.
It’s insane. But it sums Chelsea up right now.

I’ve said it before: the sooner that shitty wankstain of a club implodes the better.

Yea but apart from that United aren't far off having a good team!

I don’t think he’s good enough for the level Chelsea want to be at, but you can’t say 16 goals in 38 league games is awful.
  • NO player is worth the risk of a 9 year contract, not even a 23 year old Messi, let along an average PL striker.

  • Somebody needs to start a petition to keep Daniel Sturridge off TV. The bloke is absolutely insufferable.

Absolutely madness what's going on there.
A transfer policy that seemed to start with the signing of Ibrahiimovic on bat shit crazy wages.
Since then they've had Ronaldo come back,  Eriksen and Casemeiro. All on the way down and all shyte.

And last season it was injuries, theyve always got an excuse. They are a pale shadow of any of Fergies teams,he must be screwing sitting watching the shit that Ten Hags team dishes up every week.

I think that they're trying to skirt the rules again... from what I gather, max amortisation of contracts is now 5 years, if you have players contracted past that, their book value is effectively zero, so whatever they sell them for is pure "profit" and in 5 years time they can go on another big spending spree and be inside ffp

He already had a long contract until 2031 though by which time he will be 30, so i'm not really sure what extending it achieves.

They're definitely up to something because it makes no sense otherwise, it was only 2 days ago they were trying to sign Osimhen to replace him.

Point taken, and yes, it’s not a terrible return.
However, those figures don’t really tell the whole story do they? Over the course of last season, the unnecessary offsides and fluffed chances were his distinguishing feature. He had a handful of good games and his one hattrick came in the game against nine man spurs where two of his goals were rolled into an empty net.
Chelsea are so stacked with talent that their main focal point up front ought to be challenging for the golden boot. If he’d been any good, Chelsea would’ve been in the champions league this year.
  • The 14 PL goals Jackson scored last season is the same number that Chris Wood scored for Forest.
  • Shhhhh, Chelsea will be after Wood in the January window now.

how he wasn't sacked in the summer is a mystery, possibly the cost of sacking him ? .. now he has gone treble Dutch, Van Persie as 'coach'  and Dutch central defender and striker, all as useless as chocolate clogs ..
I do wonder though if any manager regarded as 'big enough' for the Man U job is prepared to take on and sort out the current mess ..
However, Man U have their moments, e.g. FA Cup final last year, but moments are not good enough when days and months are what is needed
