  • Not having haaland is suicide... expensive, but most people have him and he scores pretty much every game
  • This ref is effing awful.
  • Which one?
  • Them Arsenal training jackets are a bit retro
  • Ollie Watkins, what are you doing??
  • Ollie Watkins, what are you doing??
Alfie May would have scored that!!
  • Arsenal kit awful, plus the shirt clashes a bit with Villa’s (on a TV without excessive saturation at least)

Simon Church would have scored that

  • Scottish international Stuart Armstrong (x Celtic) is without a club, having been released this summer after six years at Southampton. He's 32, a player I have always liked for his work rate and commitment. I am surprised nee astonished that he's yet to find another club.
This could be because he might still be recovering from a calf injury sustained at the end of last season ?

Yes I thought that thankfully the white shorts of Villa helped to differentiate the two teams.

This Wolves Chelsea first half has been brilliant.
  • Superb goal from Palmer, made a difficult finish look so easy.

14 minute hat trick from Madueke. All 3 assisted by Palmer.
  • Gomez on the bench for Liverpool
  • Jesus, Chelsea arent a joke today are they!!
  • So are Chelsea secret geniuses and forging a path forward that other clubs are soon to follow?

Or are Wolves bang in trouble this season?

Wolves matched them for 45 minutes and looked ok, but Chelsea stepped it up in the second half.

Chelsea look like they'll be very entertaining this season. They're a bit dodgy at the back so will concede chances and goals but have a lot of exciting attacking players. Mudryk needs to go though, he is hopeless.
  • Can I point out just how cringe Liverpool fans are?
  • Amazing breakaway goal for Liverpool

bit of both .. Wolves selling Kilman shows how unambitious they are, Chelsea have far too many skilful players to completely implode
  • Liverpool playing some nice football at the moment

Liverpool playing some nice football at the moment
Shame... as the spunking over them from Drury and neutral Carragher is f**king annoying

Edit: They're not even disguising the tone of their voices when the two teams attack; Drury goes from excitement when one side goes forward, to almost lowkey when they other break

Also lost Pedro Neto as well. If you sell 2 of your best players and don't replace them then there's only 1 way you're heading.
  • "Mo Salah has now been directly involved in 128 goals in 128 Premier League games at Anfield for Liverpool. 93 goals and 35 assists."
