    It's not as if Newcastle have had an easy run either. They've had to knock out all of the current top four teams in the PL - Liverpool, Arsenal, Forest and Chelsea - plus Brentford and Wimbledon.

    I'm not a Liverpool hater.

    But I desperately wanted Newcastle to win, for the joy it would bring to their players and fans. Winning a trophy should be a special moment, not just yet another trophy ticked off.

    They're lucky Arsenal are not 6 points closer to them otherwise there would be a chance they'd bottle it but there's no way they're losing a 12 point lead.

    Their front 3 were anonymous today and the midfield 3 were absolutely murdered by Joelinton, Bruno and Tonali.
