I’d take it with a pinch of salt tbh, they’ve never seen him play for them.
I know a couple of Millwall season ticket lads who have thought he was a real prospect and were sure after his run at Lincoln that he’d get a shot at playing in the first team.
Sounds like an excellent signing. Excited by this one. Pedigree in this division, local lad, last year's club upset not to sign him, fans of Millwall sad not to keep him. The sort of quality we could do with more of I think.
Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce the permanent signing of highly-rated defender Alex Mitchell from Millwall for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old was a key part of a Lincoln City side that had the second-best defence in Sky Bet League One last season.
Mitchell has signed a three-year contract with the Addicks and becomes Nathan Jones’ fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Will Mannion, Luke Berry and Josh Edwards.

just googled it and apparently it is an NBA clothing company 😱
Welcome, Alex. A good signing with potential to grow and get better with us.
I'm hoping for at least another two before Thursday.
Welcome Alex, like his comments about the club/stadium
This is a really quality signing. Everyone speaks highly of him, proven track record with Lincoln last year and he’s here ready to go for pre season.
The sort of quality we could do with more of I think.
