Hopefully he will be the Millwall equivalent of Michael Turner, someone with obvious ability, but in a position where they are very strong, and thus not getting a look in.
Michael Turner left us to get regular football, and ended up playing at a much higher level than us after our post Curbs decline.
Keep hearing he's very aggressive on the pitch. That's the #1 thing we've lacked at the back. Thomas and Hector were alright in certain areas but both too passive. They didn't have that hunger and anger to keep the ball out the net or dominate their man. Hopefully this is a huge upgrade and we start to see just what we've been missing.

We've missed that since Pearce retired - a mad bastard who genuinely loved a scrap and was willing to put his boot through man and ball alike.
Would love to see us get Sean Hutchinson for a year to go alongside him. A leader and decent player and if we got promoted with them both Millwall fans would be even more upset!

Brilliant player and attitude and if you could keep him fit would easily do a job at the top end of L1. Was sorry to see Shaun go

But are they particulary strong in that area?
Let's not forget that were (seriously) flirting with relegation before Mr Millwall returned, which suggests that their CB's ain't all that.

Even if they're not, Mitchell wouldn't have been first choice for them in the way he will be for us, he'd have had to wait for his chance. That could have come in August, or they could make a few signings and he could be stuck on the bench for months. Clearly he didn't want to take that chance.

Not massively. Tangaga doesn’t look like he is signing, Hutchinson has been let go. Cooper is no spring chicken and turns slower than milk these days. Harding is ok ish. I could be wrong, as I’ve not actually seen him play, but I’m pretty sure if Mitchell was up to it then this would be his season to break through in to the first team.
Rumoured Millwall have a high sell on fee for Mitchell, that's why we only had to pay about £300 thousand for him .I think he will be a successful player for us .

shows how much I know about our reserves 😆
"He was very good".
If you're not impressed by this signing for a league 1 club then you never will be.
