Quite funny as he had a few moments in the first half, wasnt the best game and was sitting at home wondering how he'd put a highlights video together1
-
Yeah thought it wasn’t his best game today but he’s been magnificent across the season when available and deserves that moment.0
-
Let’s not forget he made a vital header off the line to stop them making it 2-0.Not his best game today but my word what a player he is.3

Excellent recovery tackles against Stockport after being beaten in the tackles initially.
In the Premier would he get away with that ?
I agree he looks class on the ball and can glide over the pitch, similar to the 1st time I saw Joe Gomez play at 16.
Ramsey went from the Chelsea boy's conveyor belt to one season at the highly rated Southampton academy. Loans at Shrewsbury, Crewe and Ross county followed before leaving the Saints and ending up in Yorkshire at Harrogate where he played 50 games in 2 seasons in League 2.
At 24 years old it's taken Kayne time to showcase his talents and if he becomes good enough for the Premier then that is bad news for Charlton fans but good news for Ramsey and his agent and family.
I would be amazed if he's not playing in the Championship next season either with CAFC or more likely another team.

I can definitely see someone like Brentford taking a punt on him, hope we get good money.2

There doesn't seem to be a sell on clause for him, though Harrogate at the time did say it was a "significant fee".0

Given Ramsay's age, contract length and skill set I genuinely think the club should be looking for at least £5m.3

I think the prices we can ask go up to those levels in the Championship.0

A 24 year old in League 1 who plays RB or RCB wouldn't normally go for *£5 million; I can't personally remember a situation where that's happened?
Kayne Ramsey glides over the pitch(like Gomez did) and looks class but he does make mistakes but what I notice is he has the pace and tenacity to correct his own mistakes on the occasions when I watch live or on Sky or highlights.
For a east London lad to end up in Harrogate in League two at 22 after being coached at Chelsea from 10 until being released at 17 and then the excellent Southampton academy and professional contract at the Saints over 4 seasons where he made 2 first team games and a few northern loans before going to Yorkshire, he certainly must've improved or else maybe he wasn't as committed as he appears at CAFC where we all agree he is a cracker 👏🏼
* It would be hush, hush but more like 2 million up front and more on appearances( another 1 or 2 million ?) if he went to a premier club or possibly a newly relegated Premier club like Leicester, Saints or Ipswich.
Like everyone I would be gutted if Ramsey wasn't at Charlton next season.0 -

The club should not be "looking for" any bids at all!
Keep him at Charlton, get promoted, and let him strut his stuff in the Championship.
In a Charlton shirt...5 -
Do wonder what his contract is like, would imagine that coming from Harrogate he isn’t one of the highest earners. Put a new contract in front of him with a decent pay rise in the summer1
-
I would be gutted if he is sold as I think he is one of our current players that can play as high as we want to go6

Again people using transfer fee numbers which are not indicative of any sense of reality. There has been only 8 or 9 players ever sold for more than 5 million coming out of league one. They usually are young forwards/attacking midfielders who are scoring in the 17-25 goal range in the league. Think Delle Ali, Dwight Gayle, Britt assombolanga. We don’t have a single player in the squad who would go for 5 million
