It’s a fairly recent phenomenon that footballers are rich and stay rich. Most of those who played in our early prem days still have to hold down a job to pay the bills. Whilst it’s very sad he has to part with things we, as fans, think are beyond value. I completely understand why he chooses to.

These things don’t always mean as much to players as fans think they do. If players want to make a few quid from what they have good luck to them. Don't automatically mean they are on the breadline, might want a new kitchen and see something like this a small a way of eating into the costs.

We'd love to have another but we have to balance what we spend on what funds/income we have.
