The young players can’t be blamed here. The blame lies with the management who have put them in there. Incredibly naive.
It lies with the people above the management team. You are never going to be able to compete at any level if you aren’t given the finance to do it. You can change managers and players as much as you like. We just get shit owners after shit owners. All we do is sign freebies and the odd £200k player. We get excited by signing a bloke from Cheltenham. That’s how low we have sunk.
No way Holden can be blamed for all of this, and I don’t think I’ve ever called for a manager to go before. However, it may be time to bring in an experienced league 1 manager. Could also look at league 2 teams doing well like Wimbledon.

Nope, not when you make a song and dance about having an entire week to prepare and working on defensive situations, and then after 40 mins you've had to sub off a defender and change the system

When you think things can’t get worse, they usually do with Charlton. Holden seems clueless. Will Methven, Scott etc have the guts to change manager this early, given he was their choice from the get-go?
They are to blame for this, Sandgaard was the owner but the new ownership had to be pulling the strings.
Without wishing to sound overly dramatic but the next five days might shine a light onto the next five years of our club. There’s obviously no real money and thus far the new ownership and SMT including Dean Holden have delivered absolutely nothing.
