Sam Field (remember him?) makes it 4 (FOUR) - nil.

    - Leeds played 45, 90 points, +39 goal diff
    - Ipswich played 43, 89 points, +32 goal diff

    - Tomorrow: Hull v Ipswich
    - Midweek: Coventry v Ipswich
    - Next weekend: Leeds v Southampton, Ipswich v Huddersfield

Ipswich need five points from three games to guarantee promotion. If Leeds were to fail to beat Southampton, Ipswich would only need one win from their last three to be promoted.

    QPR 3-0 73'

Leicester going up ... and puts Dipswich in pole position for the second auto spot.
Serves Leeds right for that fucking awful kit
Are we being punished for the awful green and purple kit from years ago?

Definitely Bolton. However, we haven’t been serious promotion contenders since returning to L1. Expect all other three teams to be amongst top 6 against.

Apparently the EFL blackout is only applicable during the Non-League season which has ended... Its why they're able to show Colchester vs Crewe as well

    HT in L2.

Sutton losing, Colchester winning. Colchester would be safe & Sutton relegated.

Doncaster, Crawley, Bradford winning. Crewe, Barrow losing. Doncaster, Crawley and Crewe would join MK in the playoffs.

    HT in Championship.

Sheff Wed, Stoke, Birmingham winning. Plymouth and Blackburn drawing. Huddersfield losing.

As it stands Huddersfield would be relegated today. Stoke would be safe. Blackburn, Sheff Wed on 50 & Plymouth, Birmingham on 49 with one relegation place left.

Believe this might be the first time Sheffield Wednesday have been out of the relegation zone all season.
  • Options
Plymouth now losing while Huddersfield equalised against Birmingham.

Sheffield Wednesday three points clear as it stands, they’d only go down on goal difference if results went against them next weekend.

Barrow miss out on the League Two Play-Offs by a single point.

Shame would have been good to see another "new" team in the League

Charlie Kirk's pinpoint cross leads to Crewe's equaliser and seals their place in the play offs.

    Championship with one game left…

Huddersfield effectively relegated, barring a 15 goal swing with Plymouth next weekend.

    Blackburn 50pts, -16 goal diff
Sheff Wed 50pts, -26 goal diff
    Plymouth 48pts, -12 goal diff

    Birmingham 47pts, -16 goal diff
    Huddersfield 45pts, -27 goal diff

Games to be played: Ipswich v Huddersfield, Birmingham v Norwich, Plymouth v Hull, Sunderland vs Sheff Wed, Leicester v Blackburn

Hull vs Ipswich (8pm KO... Live on Sky) should be a great watch tonight.

Ipswich chasing the autos, Hull chasing the Play-Offs

Can't believe Lincoln went on an incredible run of 12 wins, 5 draws, 1 defeat to get themselves into play off contention.............and then blew it on the last day. They missed a penalty at 0-0 as well.

Both Sutton & FGR went off at like 8s to be relegated. Think they were about 10th or 12th favs to be relegated.

Will be keeping an eye on Fleetwood dealings as they look like the type of clubs who could go straight out the football leagues. Got to assume the likes of Stockley will need to be moved on.

Crawley were 2nd favourites and Crewe were amongst bottom 6. Great seasons for them both.

Incredible run that Doncaster went on to get into the playoffs.

On 5th March, they were 20th with 40 points from 35 games. 14 points off the playoffs.

They picked up 31 more points from the last 11 games to finish 5th.

For context, after 35 games of our own season we had 37 points so they were only a single win better off than us. And then they went and won 10 games in a row.

I imagine both Wimbledon and Gillingham will be disappointed to finish in mid table. Should have kept Harris ...

Gillingham finished with 10 points from their last 10 games, near relegation form.  They were 7 points away from the play offs in the end.  For what the owners must have invested it feels like a very Tommy Sandgaardesq season for them

Ipswich have just scored a ripper on the stroke of HT to go 2-1 up against Hull.

One thing I'll say about this match: this ref is bloody good. Plays advantage at the appropriate time and then goes back to book the miscreant. He doesn't seem to have butchered many decisions either.

Why don't we get anyone like this in charge of our matches?

    Shame about the scoreline though.

    What's a win?
A game where all of our goalkeepers, nearly all our central defenders and half our midfield are replaced by players who work together as a unit and actually prevent goals.
