Got to be near the end for Ten Haag hasn't it? Problem is,who do they go to next? They remind me of us in a lot of ways. Not been the same since their legendary manager left. Squad looks tired and disjointed. Ownership couldn't give a shit (hopefully that's changed for us!)

Port Vale's run of luck in the draws continues! Most winnable one there, though probably would have preferred a visit from Liverpool or Newcastle
Port Vale have had a ridiculously easy run of games up to now, 3 L2 sides and just one L1 side, and not even a top one (Fleetwood).
I think it would have been much better for them to get a great away day like we had last season, rather than losing to the least "exciting" other team left.
Pretty crazy how manager after manager comes in at United and spends about £300m only to make them even worse.
The problem has to be the players. They've gone through a number of top managers but as per usual when the going gets tough, this United side give up and the manager is thrown under the bus.
There's absolutely no fight, which is no surprise at all when their captain is a petulant little shit. A club that has had proper leaders as captains like Bryan Robson, Steve Bruce, Roy Keane, Rooney and Vidic.
Gary Neville has said many times on the Overlap that United teams under Fergie largely ran themselves because the players they had in the dressing room simply wouldn't allow standards to slip. Nowadays they're a joke. Case in point Antony (another petulant little shit) when he came on v City at the weekend, he did nothing except look for a row. Could you imagine him in a side with Roy Keane?
Brilliant turn out by Boro and they have Plymouth away this Saturday they deserve to win the cup taking that many all that way midweek for the league cup .
it must be a new ground for em , I tried looking it up but couldn’t find anything

First time Middlesbrough and Exeter ever played eachother in any competitive competition, not sure about friendlies
Boro with everything Charlton lack…some bollocks. Howson, Coburn and Clark at the back. Proper hard work and guts. Would love those three in our side. Especially Howson. Shows what an experienced player could do for our midfield. Would help Dobson too imo.
How the fuck can a team spend a billion quid and still be so shit?!!
Surely FFP is round the corner and they will end up digging their way even deeper with more panic spending this month and in the summer.
Lavia is constantly injured, Caicedo has been shit, Fernandez average, no striker….
Oh well. Shame.
Injuries have ruined them this season.
In defence - Chilwell, James and Fofana are always injured. Cucurella and Badiashile are injured a fair bit as well. Midfield - Lavia and Chukwuemeka always injured. Up front - Nkunku has missed most of the season.
I think if they had a fully fit Chilwell, James, Fofana, Lavia and Nkunku you'd see a much better side for sure.
Although that said the money they've spent on the players that are fit is still more than enough to be getting better results. Their 2 midfielders alone last night cost them 220m.
I see this fixture and just think of the carnage play off final second leg in 1988 when Boro sent Chelsea down (beautiful) and we’d helped them on their way too with the Battle of the Bridge .
As much as Boehly is an interfering knob, Potch is so overrated. Anyone that can’t win a French league with PSG should never get a top job again.
He did win the title in his second season with them, but that seems like a season shooting fish in a barrel, as they did it with 4 games to spare, & without any consistent competition.

The following Carabao Cup fixtures have been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports in December.

Play your fucking reserves then. Who for most of the big clubs are probably internationals on over 100k a week.
