There is only one league team in either of those two counties.

Given there are northern and southern draws, it'll be MK Dons, Wimbledon mk.2 or Oxford.

Last League Cup trip to Lincoln was 1986, Hereford 2009
  • Want the easiest draw possible. Crawley or Sutton at home. Chelsea & Spurs enter in the 2nd round and would be a great chance to play one of them if we can into 2nd round.

Is the first round not regionalised? I don’t remember playing a northern team in this for a good few seasons…

edit: I see now it says yes it will regional…

So much to look forward on 22nd June this year. Club return to training, league fixtures announced and now the league cup 1st round draw as I remember it was called taking place.

This competition provided us with 2 of the highlights of last season, beating Brighton and then giving Man U a decent game at Old Trafford.

From a personal point of view with Cambridge the only possible new league ground for me this season I'll be hoping for either them or one of the six other grounds in the southern region I've not been to yet.

I've been twice, don't mind the ground at all - pretty close to the pitch, not a soulless bowl. Why is it a shite part of london?

Squeezed between the Westway and Shepherds Bush, you can taste the air pollution. There is a real lack of anything interesting, that despite the amount of dosh thrown at White City.

The stand is close to the pitch, but it has a loads of restricted views. Too high, too low, the sides, behind a post.

It's certainly my least favourite ground in London.

Cannot disagree with that at all, on the ground the view along the sides are decent but of course you would not be sitting with your own supporters.

A pain in the backside getting into pubs there as well.  Another important thing to factor in.
