After seeing him this pre season and since, I do think his best position long term is as a forward. He now has the muscle to match a low centre of gravity and his obvious pace makes him an absolute nightmare for centre backs.
He needs one goal and then he’ll be away - maybe it won’t be this season but by his mid twenties I could see him turning into a 20-goal a season man.4 -

Movement doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not a striker either - a huge part of Lyle Taylor’s game was drifting wide and getting on the ball.3 -

Reminds me of Walcott where the player themselves was desperate to play the striker role, even if their skill best suited wing-play.
Jones obviously plays Campbell up front because that's the formation we have and he wouldn't be able to play wing-back. Any team with Wingers in their formation would play Campbell on the wing.2 -

I think quite a few were relatively surprised that Tyreece was offered a new deal or at least that he’s now very much a key player for us. The good news apart from anything else is that he’s gone from being very fringe and not really a valuable asset to being a very saleable player should we ever decide to sell him.1

I saw TC in the West Stand car park, before a match last season, he really didn’t look happy, his contract was going to end in the summer, he was in and out of a struggling team, battling to stay up, and his body language and demeanor looked like he didn’t want to be here.
Roll on the summer and this season, he’s got a new contract, got his head down and worked hard to gain a place in the side, it’s like night and day.
If he can keep practicing his finishing and work on his compose, we’ll have a league one version of Raheem Sterling / Saka, this fella has a huge ceiling, and can only get better imo, exciting times!

I thought Saturday was the most dangerous he has looked for us so far. Of course he came on against tiring defenders which helped but he and Aneke both did very well and looked much more of a threat than Ahadme and Godden.
We're relying on him to create something for us though rather than us creating chances for him to put away.6 - Sponsored links:

I expected Kanu’s game time to continue but TC has moved ahead of him, at least for now. Going to be interesting to watch how they progress this season, along with Dixon. Big opportunity for any of them to become a regular if they take their chances.0

20 goal a season striker’s are hard to come bye and I personally feel we don’t currently have one on our books1 -

With Leaburn, TC, Kanu, Dixon, Casey and M'Bick we have 6 young up coming attacking players who all have a chance to make it. The issue we have is how to progress each of them without stifling any of them. Would like to see 2-3 going out on loan in a couple of months or so for game time once the squad settles and Leaburn is fit/Dixon has been assessed more.2

TC is probably the most shy person I've ever seen that's forced to be in the 'public' eye.
He lets his football do the talking, lord know he doesn't want his mouth do it5 -
Surprised he was risked against Chelsea U21s then, unless it came up after that game.1

I was glad at the time that Jones was making a fuss about that challenge as I really hate the full lunging cynical tackles like that. I always remember the one from Son on Andre Gomes that broke his leg. Whether you're looking to do damage or not players can get seriously hurt in challenges like that with absolutely no interest in playing the ball and they should be straight reds every time

Just read NJ's piece in News on Line, his handling and playing some of these players is beyondme. Tyreece should have been rested full stop, their was no need to bring him on against Chelsea. He could have quite easily put on Dixon!
I think NJ really lacks insight, getting sick and tired when managers don't know how to manage their players, should have given him an extra days rest.
The minutes he is giving KD is ridiculous and again Southend would have been a good game for him to be involved!6 -

BTW, would love to see footage of the Ravan challenge.8
