Everton v Bournemouth Leicester v West Ham Leeds v Tottenham
Everton need to win. A draw won't be enough if Leicester win, against a West Ham saving themselves for their Euro final.
Leeds look doomed
I'm sure they'll give some squad players a game but there's 10 days between the 2 games so i don't imagine Moyes will make too many changes.
I'd also imagine he still has an affinity for Everton after so long as manager there, so he would probably like to do them a favour and see them stay up.
However i fully expect Everton to get the win they need and not need any favours.

That would've been the scenario but now Everton only need a point( if Leicester win) against a team already packing for their holidays after Gary O'Neil has been a calm figure and played some decent football after being most Punters nap for 20th place. Parker thought so that why he left/sacked after the demolition at Liverpool when they nearly hit double figures.
The Saints got worse after Ralph Hasenhüttl left. Not quite sure how Southampton have managed to sell so many good players over the years and replace them with lesser players and expect not to fall through the trap door. Brighton may be the best move for James Ward-Prowse after 20 years at the Saints. Spurs will probably bid as they approach the post-Kane era.
Leeds United have tried to rely on supreme energy but they haven't improved since the popular spy and man with a translator Marcelo Bielsa left. He had so much credit with the majority of fans after leading them back to the land of milk and honey and plenty of money after a 16 year gap.
The Premier League is so far away from Cafc now that I personally have a love/hate relationship with the elite top tier now its mainly middle East ownership and American billionaires.
Tony Bloom is one lucky Gambler but if they continue to sell top players they will follow the Saints in a few seasons as they can't keep finding young gems to sparkle and sell and to replace with more of the same.

If Leicester win, then a point isn't good enough for Everton, unless i'm reading your post wrong?
You are correct Singer ! Leicester have the better goal difference. Everton were better than Forest and Leeds, so there could still be a sting in the tail of Everton. West Ham are great opponents before their final and I would be amazed if Maddison doesn't start before he moves on.

I would love Everton to go down, but I suspect they will beat Bournemouth, and I could see West Ham getting a result too.
It may have already been mentioned, so forgive me for PWR, but I feel a bit sorry for Fulham (in a limited way). Finally finish above Chelsea for the first time since before I was born, and still find they are the second best team in west London...
I'd much rather see Everton go down that Dirty Leeds. Sorry, I know that sounds weird (it does to the rest of my Spurs mates) but there you go.
It's a dilemma, JB. Everton have never really done much to deserve my bad-wishes, but... but... but... I will be honest, I resent their luck. They always seem to have winnable game when the chips are down (see Sunday for details).

I'd agree, i'd prefer leicester stay up, or Leeds both to Everton. No massive reason but to me they feel like they deserve it or maybe i just prefer the club.
Maybe Leicester think that their best bet is to grind out a draw tonight, and hope to beat West Ham next week
prophetic words .. I guess that the idea was IF they ;lost it was pretty much all over and a point gave them slight hopes .. and though Newcastle did everything imaginable except score, one point ensured their Euro League spot for next season

I'd also forgotten that 4th place in the PL now takes you straight through to the group stages of the Champions League, so Newcastle while wanting to win, would have been more desperate not to lose
I am not a fan of sports washing, that should be obvious but where do you draw the line?
How many clubs down the league do you have to go before you get to an owner that no one could have any moral objection to?
See that little 'state-owned' mention. Probably have the line next to that.
Like I said that someone could have a moral objection to. Not me personally.
Difference is I know people have a moral objections to people making money out of pornography, gambling, hedge funds, currency gambling, environmentally damaging companies, exploitation and countless other things, even if I don't share that view.

Amazing looking at that how well Brighton are doing.
Brentford even more so...
And the connection between is that the owner of Brentford used to work for the owner of the Brighton. They had a massive fall out and do not speak to each other but are both, clearly, very good at what they do and use the same methodology in terms of sourcing players.
I see levy wants to go down the data route that Brighton and Brentford have taken. Im not saying it’s wrong but crazy to me when you consider the potential of that club. He’s such a tight prick.

As Gary says though, does anyone really care that much. Most of us would wet ourselves and be singing 'we're fucking rich' if they took over Charlton.
I see Newcastle, not Saudi owned Newcastle
I see Man City, not UAE owned Man City

Do you really see Charlton Athletic and not see Thomas Sandgaard and Roland Duchatelet and the lingering smell of the odious Matthew Southall ?
Lucky you if that is the case.
It's always easier watching other teams as you don't have the emotional attachment.

I am firmly in the fickle fan, don't care camp as well - as long as no one buys Palace

Does Jerry Jones fancy buying the Addicks?
