Garcia is a very experienced player and Emma's lack of preparation on grass this year and the lack of matches really showed today. Raducanu is a very gutsy player but Garcia had too much nous today and the French Doubles Champion hits the ball very hard and the lack of depth from many of Emma's shots meant she was always up against it.

Whatever the reasons for it she needs to play matches and grow into the tour, expectations don’t define your playing style and at the moment hers is lacking. Murray is a good example it wasn’t until he got much fitter and stronger that he fulfilled his potential.
