I know a lot of people would be against it due to Millwall links, but I've begrudgingly admired Neil Harris for a long time. A good coach, who is exactly the sort of character we need to sort out this mess.
It'll probably be some unheard of Danish guy though
Seen Appleton mentioned a few times, he had a big break due to ill health this season didn't he? Pretty sure I read that is the reason he is leaving Lincoln.
Warburton would be great if he’s convinced by the ‘project’ although I know he’d be very cautious after seeing what happened to the last experienced manager we brought on.
Beale is a talented young coach. Exciting but obvious risks involved with anyone taking on their first manager’s role.
Appleton has just left Lincoln after a disappointing year. They lost a lot of key players last summer and struggled.
Duff and Bonner are probably my two favourites who both have two things: 1. bring fresh ideas and 2. know enough about managing football teams that I wouldn’t be concerned about them falling apart.
Why would Beale leave a well paid job at Villa, where Gerrard allows him to get on with all of the coaching to come to Charlton, probably be paid less and potentially have a reputation ruined, to work with an ego maniac, who puts his son in as chief scout.
When was Martin Sandgaard appointed chief scout?
Poor wording; apologies. He's heavily involved in recruitment with no history in football.
Do you need an extensive history in football to read data? My understanding was he's working on the algorithm that evaluates players and then feeding that in to the data analysts to present players as suggestions. In that case someone with a history of data analysis is probably better suited to it than, say, Ben Thatcher would be despite his long history in football. But then maybe Martin does more or less than that, it's hard to say
Credentials of getting a job- related to a senior figure at the club. My point being, I see no evidence to suggest that TS has a clue what he is doing. Adkins, awful, Roddy, awful, Roddy's son, awful..

Nah think he left Lincoln because they werent happy with results.
No Bowyers. No Jacksons. Nobody whose first instinct is defence. Nobody who mistrusts attacking talent. Nobody who turns talented wingers into full-backs. It's time to play football again, Charlton.
lets be honest neil harris done well with gills this season - who have a pony squad he openly admitted it but any manager is only going to be as good as his backing he gets.

Because I doubt Beale wants to remain in Gerard’s shadow indefinitely and probably wants a crack at being number one. Pretty obvious really.
Matt Taylor would be a superb appointment in my opinion:
(1) Four years at Exeter with steady improvement - not many have a record in their first 212 matches of 95 wins, 63 draws and 54 defeats (2) Has brought on many young players and had to deal with the loss of a few of the better ones in the process (3) Knows how to get the best out of Stockley - 16 goals in 24 starts when they were together (4) Already has an understanding of the Club
Oh god!! - I know I'd want Warburton, and it probably isnt, but that list almost feels like the League One version of: Pulis | Hughes | Pardew | Hodgson | Allardyce

Ferguson and Warburton is a good start and Keane would be bantz but the rest, urgh. If we appoint Lee Johnson I'm going to investigate unbuying my season ticket

Probably an American, I'm going to say (random guess), Brian Schmetzer.

There was no indication that Jackson was really a good coach or assistant, even before he took on the management role.
