    It's the lack of variety which is killing the occasion. Big 6 clubs (other than Spurs) taking it in turns to win the trophy, with only the occasional outsider (Pompey, Wigan, Leicester) to give us a win that really matters to the club.
    Well you say that but the league cup final between them in March was an excellent game of football. Chelsea played really well and deserved to win that day imo. Hopefully they do today.

    The FA Cup place in Europe gets given to the next available team in the Premier League though.

    Palace are thankfully too far behind (mathematically) to achieve that spot.

    shows what fans these two clubs have got and how much it this competition doesn't mean to them. no one knew the words to abide with me and i got a feeling Liverpool fans were booing it at the start could be wrong though.
