I still think there is a bigger play here. The whole Roland not talking to varney re barclay etc... then TS out of nowhere buying us. Whilst I appreciate TS buying us and ultimately saving us, I think someone's been in his ear the whole time but cannot fathom who.

Unlikely, although he was looking for managers before Bowyer left, I'd be surprised if he hasn't been doing so again
