Tell you what though, how bloody good have Newcastle been tonight? their work rate has been insane. Eddie Howe has done some job with this lot to make them more competitive. Joelinton reverting to CM alongside Bruno Guirmares has been a revellation.

Arsenal kinda shot themselves in the foot postponing the original spurs fixture. Got destroyed playing with 10 men on Thursday then have to travel up to Newcastle for Monday. Newcastle clearly had more intensity.I think messrs Neville and Carragher have gone massively OTT post match on saying Arsenal could be destroyed by this. Still an extremely young squad and nowhere near the depth to challenge for top 4 so the fact they got this far should be seen as a positive for them. Once they lost Tierney especially they struggled to find someone who could keep even half his standard on that side.1

Oh yes, 3rd most PL points gained behind City and the Bin Dippers since Conte took over in November.
3 more goals scored than the Bin Dippers in 2022.
And Conte has only been in charge since November when we had a goal difference of -7 after Nuno was sacked.
You can't compare our squad to United's in a million years with the money they've spent in comparison.

The fact that last night was Arsenal's 13th league defeat of the season and they can still get 4th tells us it's not been a great season for the champions league chasing sides.
