    Emma Raducanu 😮
Local girl, used to practise in Petts Wood.
Anyone know what club she used to play at?
She went to Newstead School and trained at the Bromley Tennis Centre - which, conveniently, are right next door to each other

    Romanian/Chinese parents.
    Great attitude. Sensible plans.
Prize money to be used on better coaching.
  • Early herself about £100k so far this week too!   Not bad at 18!

Hopefully she has a good run.
  • Pain in the arse putting Murray on last when the footie is on.

Especially as it'll be up against the Belgium Italy game, probably the second most interesting QF
  • Andy Murray's father-in-law Nigel Sears is Raducanu’s coach,

  • Going to pop along tomorrow, see what I can catch…
  • Evans in a spot of trouble, down two sets to one. On serve in the fourth set.

Shame if he loses this one - he's got a decent draw into the QF if he can play well.
  • Korda looks too good for Evans

Korda looks too good for Evans
Agreed, Korda looked impressive from the bits I saw.

Evans and Murray crash out back to back. Shame.

Norrie up tomorrow against Federer…… second on centre court.

Am I the only one who finds doubles incredibly boring to watch? It's  just so slow

I like it, you can get some quality rallies.

Anyone else see the Jabeur v Muguruza game earlier?

Jabeur literally threw up with nerves on match point, I found it quite endearing to see how much nerves can still affect the players etc.

Hope she goes on a run now, she played really well too.

Wow. I assume she did it off the main playing area, and not on the baseline!

It does mean a lot, especially if you've been playing small arenas or in front of empty venues

Yeah she hid it a bit behind the back partitions by the line judges etc.
  • Raducanu looks the real deal to me.

Yes I saw Jabeur throw up on match point. Never seen that before. The umpire said something to her afterwards - I think he wanted her to wait before serving so they could clear her sick up.
  • Yes just what I was saying.
Our best prospect since Barker & Vagina Wade & possibly/probably better than Jo Durex.
  • Really impressed with Raducanu, a great serve and powerful ground shots.

Me too. Maybe now she has done her A levels she can devote even more time to tennis?

There have been a few that have been promising, like Laura Robson. Let's hope she makes it. And isn't Palace!
