Good player from what I've seen, though wonder if he'd have fitted in better at City.
Brighton have done well though insisting on the £50m and getting it.
Also think deals like this show City are well run, they spend a lot yes but they don't just chuck money at a player and they walk away if they think the player is overpriced.
Bournemouth not signed one player after promotion to the premier league, Parker spitting the dummy out,, can only imagine the meltdown on here if that was us. Our lot were bedwetting after two weeks of the closed season 🤣

Is that anything to do with their Russian backing?

If it’s not it should be. Don’t see why the Russians at Bournemouth should fly under the radar.

They were doing a piece on it on talksport this morning, Jordon was just saying Parker should shut up and get on with it, Parker was saying 8 had left and were weaker than last season. Hadn’t signed anyone🤷🏻♂️, maybe The Parker interview was before these?

After seemingly every single one of their targets signed for Barcelona instead, Chelsea are now being linked with everyone. They're in for de Jong which will make Man U a laughing stock after they've chased him for months, Fofana from Leicester, Sesko from Salzburg, even Aubameyang.
Also building for the future (or to keep their loan farm going) by signing five 18 year olds, Slonina from the MLS, Eddie Beach from Southampton, Zak Sturge from Brighton, Omari Hutchinson from Arsenal and Chukwuemeka from Villa.

BBC website on the ball again showing Chukwuemeka signed for Man City from Chelsea for £20m.
Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite has been told he's no longer wanted at the club and they offered to terminate his contract so he can leave on a free transfer.
Braithwaite however whilst accepting he's no longer wanted, has rejected this offer and has said he will only leave if he is paid his full salary for the remainder of his deal.
So if Barcelona don't pay him up they're stuck with him on the wage bill which counts towards their salary cap.

They currently have bids in for Cucurella (52.5m), Fofana (60m) and are allegedly in for de Jong as well (he'll be at least 70m).
This new guy is spending more than Abramovich.
Can see why City walked away.
