I don’t get the animosity towards Cawley 🤷♀️
If Cawley was 12 and posting on Twitter, the same CL posters would be excited by the fake rumours. Cawley has been good to us in the past, so no idea why we wouldn’t listen to his stuff now.

Plenty on here and elsewhere wanted arbitrary deadlines set that would have excluded Stockley from signing.
Now, some want to do the same to Chuks and other players. Some people just never think through the consequences of what they are saying.
I think we need to remember these are sometimes people with social issues and the online debating platform gives them a way to express their views, views they would never voice in public but they feel safe to do so online, live and let live, just keep it in mind.
If we kept Aneke to come off the bench and terrorise teams for the last 30 minutes of every game we'll be in a very good position. Although I doubt he'll want to stay as a bench warmer even if he does bag a lot of goals in the process. I'm looking forward to seeing who we're after in midfield /on the wing.S
Tom Carroll has refused a new contract at QPR. Dozzell and Field signing has pushed him down the pecking order. He might be a good option whilst JFC is injured although wages might be high.

Was told last night by a friend of JFC that he had substantial Championship interest before injury.
Also told that the contract offer is 12 months but there is haggling over an option for a further 12 months.
Club not keen to be used to get fit for 12 months and for him to leave, JFC not sure 2 years at same wage is a good deal so looking for the 2nd year option to have an increase in salary if key conditions met.
Seen as a bit of a gamble by both parties but expectation is it will be sorted.

heard through ButtleJR a couple of weeks back that JFC had asked to negotiate further and had rejected the initial deal.
