Haha it would be. Amazing how rumours can spread, the bods on other forums saying they’ve heard he’s flying out 🤣Callumcafc said:
DISCLAIMER: this was a (rubbish) JOKE.Callumcafc said:Gallen flying out to Baku to negotiate a deal.
But if it's true, that's hilarious.18 -
It's the angry 'arries they need something to vent about.KBslittlesis said:Cor there’s some right over reaction to Cawleys interpretation of Gallens interview v Charlton TV on Twitter.
I don’t get the animosity towards Cawley 🤷♀️2 -
If Cawley was 12 and posting on Twitter, the same CL posters would be excited by the fake rumours. Cawley has been good to us in the past, so no idea why we wouldn’t listen to his stuff now.KBslittlesis said:Cor there’s some right over reaction to Cawleys interpretation of Gallens interview v Charlton TV on Twitter.

Ohh the current "twitter rant" is Aneke should be told to jog on because he is obviously using other clubs interest to get us to increase our offer. He should be more like Stockley.
The same Stockley that used interest from another club to make us increase our offer, or is there a different one?13 -
Twatter strikes again. 🙄3

Plenty on here and elsewhere wanted arbitrary deadlines set that would have excluded Stockley from signing.Cafc43v3r said:Ohh the current "twitter rant" is Aneke should be told to jog on because he is obviously using other clubs interest to get us to increase our offer. Now, some want to do the same to Chuks and other players. Some people just never think through the consequences of what they are saying.9 -
I think we need to remember these are sometimes people with social issues and the online debating platform gives them a way to express their views, views they would never voice in public but they feel safe to do so online, live and let live, just keep it in mind.7

On a magic carpet...2 -
Cafc_lifer said:If we kept Aneke to come off the bench and terrorise teams for the last 30 minutes of every game we'll be in a very good position. Although I doubt he'll want to stay as a bench warmer even if he does bag a lot of goals in the process. I'm looking forward to seeing who we're after in midfield /on the wing.S
Sounds as though he can't manage 90 mins1 -

I heard he was going to Munich. We tapped out all the Matt Smiths so now we are collecting the Chris GuntersCallumcafc said:Gallen flying out to Baku to negotiate a deal.1 -
Tom Carroll has refused a new contract at QPR. Dozzell and Field signing has pushed him down the pecking order. He might be a good option whilst JFC is injured although wages might be high.0

Harry Wilson anybody could we afford him?.8

good footballer but age and lack of goals scored will tell against himRichard J said:Tom Carroll has refused a new contract at QPR. Dozzell and Field signing has pushed him down the pecking order. He might be a good option whilst JFC is injured although wages might be high.0 -

Often it's not even the player but his agent trying to ramp up the offer.Cafc43v3r said:Ohh the current "twitter rant" is Aneke should be told to jog on because he is obviously using other clubs interest to get us to increase our offer. He should be more like Stockley.

The poor bloke needs a bigger cut, don't you know?

You must be smoking some strong shit no offence - No way would he drop to League OneAddicks59 said:Harry Wilson anybody could we afford him?.
Reckon he'd cost around £5m at the very least
Was surprised he had to sign for a Championship club on loan last season after he did well with Bournemouth6 -

When in L1 players bombed out of Qpr are possibles. I acknowledged that wages might be a problem.1 -

Was told last night by a friend of JFC that he had substantial Championship interest before injury.
Also told that the contract offer is 12 months but there is haggling over an option for a further 12 months.
Club not keen to be used to get fit for 12 months and for him to leave, JFC not sure 2 years at same wage is a good deal so looking for the 2nd year option to have an increase in salary if key conditions met.
Seen as a bit of a gamble by both parties but expectation is it will be sorted.40 -
heard through ButtleJR a couple of weeks back that JFC had asked to negotiate further and had rejected the initial deal.SurvivaloftheFittest said:Was told last night by a friend of JFC that he had substantial Championship interest before injury.
