  • Vince has resigned from TKO maintaining his innocence and claiming the accusations are lies.
I reckon there's loads of these Vince sexual assault/ sex trafficking stories out there.

    Bloke is a wrongun
    And everyone knew.

That's why Vince resigning shouldn't be the end. You think HHH can pretend he didn't have a clue?
  • This could be the biggest thing to rock the WWE since the Benoit case over 15 years ago.

Got a bad feeling that what we’ve seen/heard so far may only be scratching the surface of what’s to come.
  • Triple H should resign after that press conference.

'just want to focus on the positives', 'didnt read the lawsuit'. He's an apologist and nothing will change with him.
  • Very good men's rumble, booked very intelligently.

Glad the women's doesn't need former stars anymore to boost the numbers anymore, but the lack of depth is still visible. The TNA involvement is very interesting!
  • Really enjoyed the PPV. Skipped the women’s rumble. Enjoyed the finish to Logan Paul/Owens & Men’s rumble.

    Wrestlemania season has officially started.

Glad to see that it looks like Rhodes will finally get to ‘finish the story’, against Roman Reigns seemingly. He’s done a brilliant job of maintaining his popularity after it could have very easily slipped away after last year.

Does lead me to wonder whether The Rock’s involvement is still planned - as that would surely be a Roman match?

Again - good to have it feel unpredictable!

I reckon we'll get Roman Vs The Rock at Summerslam. It doesn't need the title

Possibly.  It doesn't feel like we'll get it at Wrestlemania, but I feel like it's a match that's too big to happen anywhere other than Mania!!
  • The Rock won't touch WWE at the moment while it's reputation is through the floor.

    Maybe next year.

Could happen at one of the stadium shows, 'mania will sell out regardless of the card and Rock V Reigns is massive.

Women's match was decent, not worth going out of your way to watch. I liked the finish two, not great to have a PPV match end on a DQ but it ticked the boxes as to what they wanted and made sense.

That's a good point.  Wouldn't be surprised if he pulled the pin on appearing at Mania once the new lawsuit came out
  • Either they've managed to persuade The Rock to do Australia against Reigns, or they're holding it off for Saudi.

Also very interesting he was appointed to the board a couple of days before this all came out
  • Rock will be furious for sure. He notoriously goes above and beyond in many ways to maintain his image/reputation.

Definitely suspect The Rock vs Reigns was planned for Mania when he cut that promo only 1-2 weeks ago though. You can’t tease people like that just as we’re going into Mania season and not deliver it. Not without very good reason.

Part of that deal involved him getting the rights to 'The Rock' name. He won't want to give that up but he also won't want to be tarred with anything to do with the lawsuit.
  • Punk injured and needs surgery.

    When it rains, it pours.
  • It's not idea but they have more than enough to cover Punk and he had nothing planned in Kayfabe.

I do wonder what Netflix are thinking now!

Didn't Punk get injured a lot in his first run in WWE and that's why he had a reduced schedule and used to spout drivel on the mic whilst leader of the SES
  • I wonder if it's over for him, but then remember how Sting is doing these days.

What annoys me the most about WWE is Jinder. He can work, talk and looks like something from a comic book. But because of the colour of his skin he gets the Tiger Ali gimmick and doesn't get presented as a main eventer.

In the last month he got a segment with the Rock. A title match with Rollins, but didn’t even get a spot in the rumble. Very surprised they couldn’t get him in the match somewhere.

  • I don't think he was even on a 3 hour Raw last night.

Fantasy booking, I think Cody needs to beat Roman for his finishing the story nonsense to mean anything. Cody V Roman at 'mania with the special referee being The Rock. Cody wins with The Rock calling it down the middle and prevents The Bloodline getting involved. This leads to a bloodline beat down post match calling The Rock a traitor to the family. The Rock a lengthy time off of TV and it sets the seeds for Rock V Roman at Wrestlemania XLI where the streak isn't an issue.

As for Rollins, there are loads they can book against him.

Was wondering how they would fit The Rock in.  I like it
  • Great segment between Rhodes and Rollins last night. Enough to make me half believe that the main event for Wrestlemania could still change and go the other way. Really compelling booking.

  • Cracking seat plan lol

Drew was great as well and not  just on tv. 😃

  • I didn’t foresee Punk/Drew being a blood feud they would build, considering the obvious Roman/Rollins/Rhodes possibilities that have been touted.

But one thing about HHH’s booking that he does really well, is that he builds options out so that they can move as needed. This time last week many were getting excited about the seemingly obvious path to a Rhodes v Punk match at Mania.

But in that time, one of them has got a major injury and their big returning star (The Rock) might not be returning so soon. Yet what we’re left with still feels like it could be natural and well planned (Punk/Drew, Roman/Cody etc).

It’s poles apart from what we’d have got with Vince.
  • I actually think the Cody/Rollins match makes a lot more sense

Comments from John Laurinaitis's lawyer Edward Brennan to @vicenews:

"Mr. Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will be vigorously defending these charges in Court, not the media.
Like the Plaintiff, Mr. Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out."
"Count how many times in the complaint Vince [McMahon] exerts control over both of them."

  • The landscape of Wrestlemania just changed!
  •  :D what a joke company.
